Stunning and extremely well run venue, got we got married in May and literally had the best day of our lives. Corin and Emma looked after us and made every step of the way enjoyable and stress free! Food was beautiful and the staff were fantastic on the day couldn't do enough for you. Grounds for the photos are simply beautiful would highly recommend this place! Thank you Eskmills team x

Would never recommend to anyone, eskmills done an upgrade and removed most of the ceiling drapes, the roof looked like a factory! Was awful. was told 3 different reasons why they were removed upgrade, fire hazard & then because they were old., future brides weren’t told because they are allowed to do upgrades as stated on the contract. Eskmills Totally ruined the run up to my wedding as this was a big deal to my husband and I. Week before my wedding they told us they can replace for my wedding only at a cost of £2000! They agreed to go half and we had to pay £1000 to have these re fitted which now eskmills have now kept up to use on future weddings and events!! so if your married from 26 May onwards , your welcome for the ceiling being re covered on our expense. On my wedding day 3 maybe 4 toilets in the men’s were out of use, disabled toilet blocked and broken the toilet seat was ripped off. 5 of my kids who attended never got fed their meals as they made the wrong meal, including serving a burger to a vegetarian. They replaced the meals with macaroni bites even though it was supposed to be macaroni and parents of the children ended up ordering food from elsewhere for them! The bar staff were absolutely awful, slow and were unsure of a lot of drinks that weren’t in a labelled bottle and different prices everytime at the bar. Also to mention the amount of wedding co ordinators is quite frightening and worrying. However we were handed over to Emma and she was amazing and so was the other emma who coordinated our day, the only advantage was the food. I complained to a director / ceo of the company who run hickory and was replied to with a degrading response.

We got married July 2023 at Eskmills, and we were so well looked after. Corin made sure everything was just right from the get go, and as someone who likes things ‘just so’, I knew I had left the planning in capable hands. The grounds of the venue are so stunning for photos and we were thrilled to have found somewhere where there was an excellent catering company on site. The food was so great (which isn’t always the case for weddings!) and everyone was happy and well fed and watered! Absolutely would not hesitate to recommend both Eskmills and Hickory, dream team for a perfect wedding!
