Everingham Park in York, North Yorkshire, is a venue ideal for country weddings. The Grade One Georgian Hall, the manicured grounds, and the lake make for an incredible backdrop to start the rest of your life.

Facilities and Capacity

The Chapel of Saint Mary and Everilda on the grounds is available to hire for religious and non-religious ceremonies. Feel free to bring your officiant of choice or select any from the recommendations made. The chapel can seat up to 150 guests comfortably.

The Oak Barn by the lake has a beamed roof and porch. There is a kitchen available for the caterer as well. This space is suited for smaller celebrations of up to 80 guests, whereas The Big Barn, which is adjacent to this site, can accommodate 120 people. This centrally-heated space can be marquee lined or enjoyed as is with Yorkshire boarding and brickwork. There is a stage that can be extended or reduced as per your needs.

Services Offered

A spacious apartment with all modern amenities is available to hire separately to accommodate seven people in three bedrooms. Chivari lime-washed chairs and tables can be provided for the occasion as well. Recommendations are also given with regard to caterers, bar companies, planners, and table decorators. Arrangements made with any are a direct dealing, and Everingham Park is not involved. The venue hosts only a small number of events each year, so each wedding is tended to with great care and attention. Other services include:
