My wife and I had our wedding here and we cannot rate the Faenol Fawr highly enough. If I could score more than five stars, I would.

The venue is absolutely stunning, the food is divine and the rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. What really makes the Faenol Fawr so special is the staff. There was not a single member of staff who me or my guests didn't have a positive interaction with. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and there was not a single thing that was too much to ask for them. Some of the staff even took the bobbles out of their hair to help pin my wife's dress up so she could dance! I cannot speak more highly of Jonathan, Lilli and Katie all of whom went above and beyond to make our wedding special and memorable. I could not have asked more of them.

The prices are completely reasonable to host a wedding and the family run vibe suited us perfectly.

All of our guests were very complementary of the venue and their stay. The breakfast was a well needed recovery for many after our party the night before.

Rooms
We stayed in the suite, though did see some of our guests rooms during our stay. The rooms were clean, well furnished and had a rustic feel to them. The suite was a great space for us to recover from the night before and for us to relax in the morning before we left for our honeymoon.

Food & drinks
The food was divine, very well priced and the portions were filling, there was definitely enough food. As well as a three course meal, later in the evening we had bacon and sausages ciabattas for our guests and these hit the spot perfectly.

Noteworthy details
The grounds and in particular the Barn are absolutely stunning and made the perfect setting for the wedding. Most notably the staff are all amazing and I cannot thank them enough, they went above and beyond to make our wedding day special.

Hotel highlights
Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Great value

My friend recently had a christmas wedding at this venue and it was superb.

The staff were efficient and friendly and the whole day seemed to go without a hitch.

There was a room all set up for the ceremony and mulled wine and mince pies was a change from bucks fizz!
The wedding breakfast was held on the next floor and the service was swift and there was a great view of the top table even from the back of the room.

On the next floor was where the evening reception was held and this was fantastic sofas to lounge about in and a small floor to dance the night away.

Absolutely flawless.

The Faenol Fawr truly was the perfect venue for a perfect day. The owners were very accomodating to our needs and wants. The food was outstanding - and plenty of it. The grounds and building make a stunning background for photographs. And a great day was had by myself, my new husband and each one of our guests.

I found the staff and management very helpful and polite willing to do anything to help. The only problem is if you don't drive it is a difficult place do get to. though the grounds are excellent.
