When you visit our 18thCentury inn, you will find a traditional bar with real ales and open fire, along with a brasserie that offers a variety of dining areas and two private function rooms for your event.

With over 30 years of experience under our belts, we at The Fence Gate understand that your wedding day should be as unique as you both are. With this in mind, we offer both an ‘All Inclusive’ package and a Bespoke Wedding Service for you to choose between.

There are no limitations to the style of wedding day that we can host, whether it is a traditional wedding or a fantastic evening celebration you are looking for, we will put together a package to suit you.

We have two flexible function suites to choose from. ‘Bar 1782’ has been recently refurbished and is ideal for smaller celebration of up to 60 guests throughout the day, and increasing to 90 in the evening. For larger events, our Cromdale Room offers you the perfect location. Both rooms are licensed to hold civil ceremonies.
