Wow, Halkyn Castle Wood is the BEST venue. It was exactly what we wanted and totally exceeded expectations. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough for it to be available on your date. 😊 Beautiful woodland, awesome stage, sound and lights. Perfect.

So I got married here 26th May and honestly could not fault a thing! I would recommend it to everyone. From planning all the way through until we left we had so much help and support, they sorted everything!! Our day was so special and laid back, food was incredible and the staff were always there helping and making sure everything ran smoothly! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything!! Mr & Mrs Gray!!

We recently held our wedding reception at this hotel and couldn&#8217t be more pleased with the facilities and service we received. The hotel lends itself perfectly as a wedding venue with beautifully kept gardens, tree-lined views, a good number of guest bedrooms and a feature staircase perfect for indoor photos. The layout of the rooms is excellent with an atmospheric bar ideally situated next to both the wedding reception suite and the front gardens that afford a great seating area for summertime drinks. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who provided a most professional service throughout the day. The food was excellent, the tables perfectly laid, and the service fast and efficient. The hotel staff couldn&#8217t have been more friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I have to admit, we were a little apprehensive throughout the planning stage as there was some lack of attention to detail in the paperwork, but don&#8217t let this put you off &#8211 the final product was a fantastic day had by all that went without a single hitch. We highly recommend this hotel as wedding venue.

I attended my Sisters Wedding we had a lovely meal. Roast Potatoes were scrumptious. the whole day was lovely and the setting for the actual wedding in the conservatory was beautiful. the staff could not do enough for you. have looked at this venue for my wedding this year but unfortunately that date was gone.

I attended a friends wedding here in July of 2001 and was really surprised at how nice the place and particularly the staff were. I'd always imagined the staff to be a bit 'stuffy' but they were quite the opposite and in fact were very down to earth and friendly. Unfortunately we are marrying in the USA because my wife to be is American but if we weren't I would jump at the chance to marry here.
