We believe that for your special day 'Only a Castle will do', so we offer a very individual approach to creating the wedding day of your dreams with dedicated wedding co-ordinators to support you through the planning of your wedding to being there on the day to ensure everything runs perfectly.

The future is very exciting for weddings as we embark on launching our 'Wedding Village' at the Castle, ready for spring 2020!

The Wedding Village will be unique an will make your wedding the most memorable day for you and your guests.

Whether you choose a church wedding, civil ceremony in our Georgian Library or scented garden, or a humanist ceremony, we offer couples use of the castle and Wedding Village on an exclusive basis.

You can choose how grand you would like you day to be - from a helicopter entrance, limousine or horse and carriage - the choice is yours.

The 340 acre estate offers perfect photo opportunities that will truly capture memories for your future together. The lawns, walled garden and orchard afford beautiful spaces to welcome you and your guests.

Our orchard tipi will offer something unique and different from the traditional marquee wedding. Located close to the castle and grounds, heated anf surrounded by beautiful spaces for you and your guests enjoyment; our Wedding Village surrounds you with its natural beauty from tranquil walks in the walled garden to fun and laughter on the games lawn! There will truly be no other venue like ours to host your magical wedding.

Perfect from start to finish

From start to finish our experience booking our wedding at Fonmon Castle was just perfect. Infact, this was the only venue we viewed as we could tell from the start it was everything we wanted. The warmth, beauty and grandeur of Fonmon blew us away, and most of all we didn't feel we were part of a 'conveyor belt' of weddings. The staff (especially Hannah) were absolutely incredible- always on hand to answer any queries, so professional and most importantly so lovely! We will always remember our wedding day at Fonmon as the best day of our lives, and I know our guests had a wonderful time too. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

If we could give you 100 stars...we would

My oh my where do I begin?! Fonmon Castle is the most beautiful wedding venue we had ever seen- we just had to book it for our wedding!
We really wanted to have a personalised wedding which represented us and Fonmon Castle allowed us to do just that!
Hannah (the wedding co-ordinator) is just incredible, nothing was ever too much to ask in the run up to our wedding as she genuinely wanted us to have to best day ever (which it really was!) Her meticulous organisation, yet relaxed nature is awesome- I just don’t know how she does it!
Mark (the night time manager) is also incredible, he was always instantly on hand to cater for our every need. Whether that was to ensure that bride and groom had a drink in their hand to organising guests into rough lines for confetti and sparkler shots!!
Thank you to everyone in Fonmon Castle for making it the best day of our lives! So many of our guests have commented saying how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and how lovely you guys were!
If I could give you a 100 star rating I would- 5 just doesn’t do you justice!

Absolutely incredible

We had our wedding at Fonmon on Friday and it was absolutely incredible. We fell in love with Fonmon as soon as we first visited. A stunning venue with a really laid back atmosphere. All of our guests have commented on how beautiful the setting was. Thank you so much to Hannah, Mark and all of the staff who helped to make our wedding so special. Hannah was absolutely fantastic in the run up to the day. Nothing was too much trouble and all of the staff made sure the whole day ran smoothly. We even were allowed to bring our dog Walter along to join in the celebrations!! We would recommend Fonmon to anyone. Lots of love, Ryan, Lauren and Walter xxxx

brilliant staff, food was lovely

This time last week I was celebrating my wedding day. I would like to say a big THANKYOU to all the castle staff especially Casey, Hannah and Tracy who were brilliant and the catering staff the food was lovely. A perfect moment in our lives.

A huge thanks to the wedding team at Fonmon Castle for making our wedding a perfect moment in our lives.The staff worked above and beyond making our day so special.Every detail was perfect from the food to the wedding decorations,the staff were very welcoming,professional and child - friendly .All our guests had nothing but praises for the staff and of course the castle with it's magical grounds and the amazing interior and exterior decoration.Once again we would like to thank you for making our wedding day truly magical.

My dream wedding

came true - thanks to the help of Claire and the Boothbys. The day was perfect and they could not have done more. The stuff fairy tales are made of, with spectacular grounds and options for every taste.

Fantastic, relaxing, friendly

My cousins' wedding reception was held here in July 2005. It was a fantastic venue to have chosen. The grounds were immaculately manicured; the castle, a wonderful backdrop to such a high profile event. Two female violinists provided the elegant music, and highly professional and competent catering staff, served us with friendly smiles and a courteous attitude. I believe that the grandiose presence of Fonmon Castle added a certain authority to the proceedings, and lent us a social status of the highest order! I was proud to see a family member married at such an esteemed venue.
