Built in 1898, Frensham Hall is a historic wedding venue nestled in Surrey's serene countryside in Farnham, England. This proud and beautiful estate with an incredible heritage has hosted lavish soirees during the turn of the century and hosted wounded soldiers during the Great War, much like the fictional Downton Abbey. Facilities and Capacity

Frensham Hall would be honoured to host each milestone of your big day and boasts indoor and outdoor event spaces. Within the main building, you will find an Edwardian ballroom complete with a Minstrels' Gallery, a gorgeous Louis XVI drawing room, and a Jacobean hall with a baronial fireplace. All three are licensed for civil ceremonies. The estate is also blessed with stunning grounds, including a beautiful terrace, an intimate walled garden and outstanding views. Their walled gardens are now fully licensed for ceremonies if you prefer to host a sunny afternoon event.

Upon booking, Frensham Hall provides a dedicated wedding coordinator to turn your vision for your big day into a reality. You will benefit from their expertise in planning every last detail, from design and layout to your wedding breakfast menu and securing nearby accommodations. This team has also carefully selected a range of local businesses able to provide some of the other essentials for the day. During peak season, there is a minimum capacity of 85 guests, and the remaining months are arranged on a more case-by-case basis. Their room capacities are as follows:

• Licensed for up to 60 in the Drawing Room
• Licensed for up to 90 in the Long Gallery
• Licensed for up to 150 in the Ballroom
• Outside License for 150 in the walled Garden and 40 in the Treehouse
