About
The Garden Museum is the ideal venue for a Central London wedding reception with a difference. Situated on the Southbank of the River Thames, overlooking the Houses of Parliament and very close to Tate Britain, Garden Museum offers a unique oasis amongst the bustle of the big city.
The Museum easily seats up to 120 guests for dinner in the main space, The Nave, beneath the beautiful stained glass windows and medieval architecture. There is also plenty of room for drinks and dancing in the same space when dinner has ended.
The breathtaking interior is very versatile and an informal party style reception works equally as well as a formal sit down meal, the choice is completely yours.
Alternatively, there is The Sackler Garden, an extension that houses the garden designed by award-winning gardener Dan Pearson. This space is perfect for intimate gatherings of up to 30 guests or as a drinks reception space when used in conjunction with The Nave.
The Museum’s tower is the oldest visible structure in Lambeth and can be added to your package for breathtaking photographs from the top. The views are stunning and take in Westminster and the river.
The team at Garden Museum understand that you want your wedding to be unique and reflect you as a couple and so they encourage you to use the venue in a way that makes your celebration as special as possible.
The Museum has a host of trusted suppliers that they work with, from caterers providing menus inspired by the gardens, using seasonal ingredients to expert florists who focus on bringing the stunning gardens and blooms from the outside indoors as an extra special centrepiece for your day.
