Gellifawr Woodland Retreat offers an array of idyllic event areas, both indoor and outdoor, suitable for wedding celebrations. This venue is licensed to host both civil marriages and civil partnerships, allowing you to hold all aspects of your day here. The newly-constructed outdoor ceremony space here provides the perfect setting to exchange “I do’s”. Located close to the treeline and featuring a handcrafted wooden wedding arch, this area allows you to surround your ceremony with nature. Afterwards, guests can effortlessly transition to the terrace, complete with a fire pit and bar area, for a relaxed drinks reception. You and your beloved can utilise this time to explore the expansive grounds and discover amazing natural backdrops for your wedding photos. The indoor function room offers ample space for a seated wedding breakfast and evening reception. This bright and airy event space can comfortably accommodate 150 seated guests and 250 attendees for an evening celebration.

Once a farm and mill house, the main house has been carefully restored to ensure that it retains its original charm while offering the utmost comfort. It features seven individually-decorated rooms complete with en-suites, all of which offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This space serves as an ideal base for the couple-of-honour and their wedding parties both before and after the main event. There are also 15 cottages located on the grounds here that your wedding guests are welcome to avail of for a restful overnight stay. In total, this property can accommodate up to 80 overnight guests on-site.
