Facilities and Capacity
The George & Dragon Hotel comprises indoor and outdoor event areas, and it can accommodate parties of more than 120 guests. Indoor and Outdoor ceremonies can be celebrated on the hotel’s verdant, picturesque grounds; Indoor or outdoor receptions can be held in the beautiful gardens, marquee, or main events hall with all the beautiful drapes.
The courtyard and formal gardens are the delights of couples and photographers alike and provide plenty of options for those all-important wedding portraits. The hotel also has 15 rooms, including the spectacular Georgian Suite "Our Bridal Suite", and can accommodate up to 40 guests. You and your guests can celebrate and dance the night away and then retire to rest in comfort and style.
Services Offered
The George & Dragon Hotel and its premises are available for exclusive hire. In-house freshly cooked catering is provided, and buffet and seated meal facilities are available. The hotel’s culinary staff is highly skilled and can prepare a wide range of cuisines.
Menus can be tailored to suit your needs and dietary requirements. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. In-house DJ and live band facilities are also available, and the bar features a fabulous nightclub lighting system to get you and your guests in the mood for dancing and fun. Confetti and outdoor fireworks are also permitted on the grounds only.

Our wedding 06-08-22
The food was amazing and very filling. The George and Dragon make sure the food is at the best quality and very generous. The buffet looked amazing and there was plenty off food for the evening. You do get alot for your money!
The bridal suite is stunning and is a great place to get ready for the day and a nice place to unwind at the end of the night.
Honestly could not recommend this place enough. I was happy from beginning to end.

They were great from the start,working around our budget to give us the best day that we will never forget.
The food was the highlight for us, delicious 3 course meal, served with complementary toasting drinks, and also the staff were so kind and helpful.

Fantastic venue.
Charlie was so accomodating and worked with our budget to provide us with the most spectacular day, nothing was too much trouble.
We met several times to go over details and ensure everything was perfect for the day.
We had a giant menu to select from, selecting three options of starters, Mains and desserts, this then allowed our guests to pick what they'd like. Charlie and team also accommodated for children wonderfully.
The room we married in was transformed into such a beautiful room (see photos!) And the gardens allowed for wonderful photography.
We had the best day and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.
