Gilmerton House is a Grade A listed, exclusive use, Georgian mansion located at the heart of Scotland's peaceful East Lothian countryside.

Sitting on Edinburgh’s doorstep and within reach of North Berwick’s stunning beaches and ancient castles, our estate blends history and tradition with a touch of modernity and is perfectly positioned to hold the wedding celebration you have always imagined.

We believe that no two celebrations should be the same and strive to give each couple the freedom to curate a unique wedding according to their tastes. Whether you wish to have an intimate wedding in the House, a larger reception for up to 100 guests in our stunning new blank canvas event space, The Laundry House, or perhaps a marquee celebration in the stunning gardens, Gilmerton is able to cater for events of all tastes and sizes.

The house boasts five reception rooms, a large guest kitchen, dining room, billiards room, and ten large double bedrooms decorated to a high standard in a classical Georgian style with a modern and sustainable focus. Overnight guests can opt to enjoy the additional services of a house butler and private chef. A further three bedrooms are also available in The Lodge, which is a cosy Victorian cottage situated close to the main house.
