About

The Glasgow Marriott offers flexibility when it comes to choosing the perfect room for your wedding reception. Conveniently located on the ground floor we offer our grand ballroom the Clyde Suite and our Waverley Suite is perfect for smaller weddings and receptions.

The Clyde Suite offers versatility with a large foyer area which includes a private bar, separate entrance and cloak room. The Ballroom itself will split into the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth Suites, according to your requirements. This allows your wedding breakfast to take place in one half of the suite and your evening reception in the other with no turnaround required. (subject to numbers).

The Waverley Suite is an elegant room, flooded by natural daylight, which will accommodate a maximum of 50 guests for a wedding breakfast. This beautiful room can also be used for a religious ceremony, this needs to be conducted by a minister of the church.

Superb service and classic food.

On April 20th 2007 we celebrated our wedding in the Glasgow Marriott. This venue has recently been refurbished and we were the first wedding to experience the pluch new surroundings and luxury fittings. Sian Cresswell was our hotel contact and she ensured we had maximun input with minimum effort. Patrick, was the mc for the evening and ensured everthing went to plan and the event ran smoothly. Executive chef Stewart Jarvie provided all the guests with a memorable 5 star meal. The Marriott ensured that our wedding day was left for us to enjoy and not worry about the practicalities of such a huge event.

My Daughters wedding October 2006

As the wedding list contained doctors, lawyers & even a Lord and Lady, it had to be special. We thought about the Country Houses etc. However we had always had fantastic service at the Glasgow Marriott. So thats where we all decided to go. They did not disappoint. The staff were wonderful, the food and whole environment may it a day to remember. We got so many thank you cards from people who attended, some of whom had stayed over. They all raved about our choice of venue. Even the lady who delivered the cake said she had sent a thank you card to the Hotel complimenting the the staff on their friendliness. Not always the norm she said. They made things so easy for us and I can not recommend them highly enough. My daughter said they helped to make her day a special one.
