From the moment we arrived at Glenmore House for our first viewing, my husband and I fell in love with it. The stunning staircase was the perfect place to realise my childhood dream of a photo with my train flowing down the stairs.
With the beautiful stained glass windows, the wedding room had a majestic feel and had been set out to perfection.
The whole day was seamlessly organised and controlled by Faye and the fantastic team who made sure I, my husband and all of our guests had the most magical experience. I didn't have to worry about a thing!
There is nothing we would have changed. Everything from the food to the decorations to the care and attention of the staff were simply perfect.
We would highly recommend working with Faye to have a stunning venue and a stress free wedding! Thank you!

Glenmore House is an amazing venue and so close to Surbiton station which makes easier for people to travel to. Plenty of free parking space and there is a garden direct opposite for pictures opportunity. My husband and I fell in love with this venue and we decided to hold our wedding on 16th September 2023 at the Elizabethan Suite. It was a perfect and amazing wedding experience. Our host Faye and the team were always on hand throughout the day and it the day went so smoothly. They made our day so at ease. Faye was great and so helpful :). The food was excellent and all of my guests were complimentary of the food - thanks to the Chef and the team. It was a perfect wedding experience. Thank you Faye and all the team.

I couldn’t recommend this venue more. Absolutely stunning Elizabethan Suite was what we chose for our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception.
Faye and the team were on hand throughout the planning, the lead up and on the day! She even sorted my dress out as I walked up the aisle.
The food was delicious, service was fantastic and everything ran so smoothly!
The drinks pricing is the best around and our guests loved the fact that it was more than affordable!

The co ordination of you and your team was outstanding… everyone says don’t sweat the little things as something always goes wrong but I can honestly say if it did we didn’t notice.
Compliments again the chef, the food was so good and from the feedback on the day and after everyone has said out of all the weddings they have been too the food at a standard they have never had before. Honestly our appreciation for how you handled our day and last minute booking, we don’t know how to thank you enough. You are all amazing, thank you again so so much! Glenmore house is amazing value for money. It’s a beautiful place! I would use the venue again for an event. Faye was so helpful and made my day go so smoothly.

Glenmore House, amazing venue which made our day perfect - Faye could not have done more to make our day everything we wanted and more, always there replying to my millions of questions in the lead up and happy to accommodate multiple visits both before booking & after. All staff we lovely and helpful but another in particular who stood out was Sam, always going out of his way to help us - just like Faye.
We hired the beautiful Ballroom for both our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception - in between each part of the day the staff worked quickly to re set the room exactly to our liking with all of our decor, taking extra care to make everything just how we wanted it. Faye was keen to listen to all of our ideas and didn’t push us in to the more traditional - we didn’t fancy the sit down three course so we went for a chefs choice buffet and added our own sweet table with sweets and donuts, the price of the food just like the venue overall was brilliant, throughout the wedding planning process the list of payments racks up fast with decor, outfits, transport etc, a lot of places adding on money simply for the fact it is a wedding but Glenmore house is more than worth the money they charge.

Would recommend this venue to everyone, we will be back in the near future to try one of their Sunday carvery’s!

We got married at the end of April. We had the most amazing day the surroundings venue the food couldn’t have asked for a better day .
Huge thanks to Faye who helped get our day off without a hitch . Faye is attentive warm and fully answered any questions we had which made all the difference. Sam who guided us through our tasting menu a lot of options all very tasty and hard to chose from we were given a taste of the coconut sorbet something which we weren’t planning on having but after trying we immediately added to to our wedding breakfast! Sam is great easy to talk to and professional.
If you are looking to get married in the area we highly recommend Glenmore it’s a beautiful venue , good location and great value for money . Our guests loved it .

My wife and I held our wedding reception there on April 21st and the whole team were so wonderful - we could not recommend the venue enough. We were pleased to hear the other day that one of the guests at our wedding has decided to use Glenmore House for her own wedding later this year!

My husband and I had our wedding at Glenmore House this past Monday. What a fabulous day we had! From start to finish, the experience was tip-top and I honestly cannot fault anything.

After the initial viewing, we knew we would be choosing Glenmore House as our wedding venue. The ballroom is stunning and has so much character, the private bar area is large and very modern and the pricing is unbelievable compared to all of the other venues we viewed. Faye was warm, super friendly, and professional but relaxed, which put at us ease right away - we didn't feel like we were being pushed into anything or being "sold something" as we had on some of our other venue viewings. In truth, the venue and the amazing prices really sell themselves.

Although the venue doesn't offer tastings, Faye organised a private tasting for us a few weeks before our wedding date to help put our minds at ease on our food choices, which we really appreciated. We were served and looked after by the F&B Manger, Sam, who was equally as professional and friendly and answered all of our questions. We needn't have worried about the food because it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. In the end we opted for the Reblochon Tartlette, Roasted Duck Breast and The Lemon & Ginger Cheesecake.

On the day itself everything ran smoothly and just like clockwork - I've never seen such a well organised event! The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Faye coordinated the day so we didn't have to worry about a single thing and could just relax and enjoy ourselves. The food was wonderful, the room looked beautiful - it just couldn't have been better. Many of our guests have since told us how much they enjoyed the day and the food; my mum said it was the best wedding food she'd ever had!

A MASSIVE thank you to Faye and everyone at Glenmore House who made our day so special. We cannot recommended them enough. Excellent venue, wonderful staff, delicious food, and all at half the price you would pay at a similar venue. We are so happy we booked our wedding day here.

I had my long awaited, covid rescheduled wedding here at the end of March. Sadly my experience with this venue was not good. A few weeks before my wedding I expressed concern over how long it took to get responses to time sensitive emails and the response I got from Robbie was absolutely appalling. The rudest and most unprofessional response, shouted at on the phone, continually interrupted and talked down to, and then was told (SIX WEEKS before our wedding) if we were “that unhappy” we could find a different venue. Come to find out it’s because he’s married to the woman who I raised a concern about and he was getting defensive! All because I was needing time sensitive emails answered. I was assured that they have cheaper prices and less staff and don’t try to upsell their clients and my actual wedding day will be perfect and they go above and beyond. Couldn’t have been a bigger lie!
Where do I even start the day of our event? The bathrooms were so filthy and smelly even after the cleaner was in that my brother spent nearly an hour cleaning them. The whole place smelled of urine before he did. The whole event ended up being 2 and a half hours behind schedule solely because they didn’t have enough staff. After about 45 minutes behind schedule, instead of enjoying my wedding, I had to bring my bridal party in to help turn over the room because it was just taking too long (a service they CHARGED me for even though I ended up doing it myself)
Because our event ran so behind schedule our photographer missed out on key moments we will never be able to get back. Instead of having 4 hours to dance, we barely had 2 hours. More money wasted on hours of unused DJ time. We had to pay extra to get the photobooth to stay later so guests actually had a chance to use it-because instead of dinner finishing when it was set up, guests were just being seated for the meal. Even though myself, my wife and our bridal party very loudly complained about how far behind schedule the night was, we never got an apology or an explanation. On such an important, once in a lifetime event you’d think the least they could do was apologize! I do feel bad for the staff and believe this is a management problem. He wants to be cheap and not have enough staff to run these big events well. The staff was actually amazing and every one of them was lovely and attentive. Specifically Paige at the bar and Faye was very helpful although I wish she would have just asked for help setting up the dinner and it would have changed the whole night. Overall, I would not recommend this venue and if I could go back and pick somewhere with a higher price tag and less stress- I would do it in a heartbeat.

We had our weeding on the covid time.
All place was perfect. From staff, food, money, music and decor . Everything was magical and made our wedding ( although small with 15 people) exactly how we wanted to be.
We are really happy that we chose Glenmore House and we recommend for everyone who want to have a perfect day, without any stress!

We cannot rate Faye and her team highly enough! They did everything possible to make our day perfect. The venue is beautiful and the food and service is wonderful. Faye was a dream to work with - her organisation is second to none! All of our guests commented on how great the venue was and we are really thankful we chose Glenmore for our wedding.
