Situated in Marbury, in the heart of Cheshire’s scenic countryside, Grange Barn is a relaxed and rustic wedding venue. Nestled amidst picturesque farmland lies a spacious barn with breathtaking views. This unique family-run venue provides a three-day hire, a choice of four approved caterers and a beautiful and spacial bridal suite.
Facilities and Capacity
Grange Barn provides you with plenty of flexibility to make your wedding dreams come true. During bright spring days and warm summer months, you can exchange vows outdoors on their gorgeous large decking overlooking the grounds. Indoor ceremonies are held in the main barn in a separate ceremony room. Here, bunting and a unique flower arch complement the venue’s air of rustic refinement. If you wish to marry in a church, you can do so at one of the local Churches. Guests can then enjoy drinks and canapes on Grange Barn's decking, overlooking the stunning views, before entering the main barn for the wedding breakfast. Lofty and bright, this building has large full-length windows that allow natural light to pour in whilst also making the most of the unbelievable views. The space comes dressed with an abundance of fairy lights, festoon lights and unique wagon wheel lights to create a sumptuous atmosphere. Included in the rental package are plenty of decorations, tables and chairs, seating, a PA system and much more.
Their on-site bridal suite, ‘The Loft’ is next to the wedding barn and is yours for the weekend. With a large bedroom and an additional sofa bed in the spacious dressing room, you can sleep there the night before your wedding. In the morning, there is a very large hair and make-up bench with Hollywood mirrors and loads of natural light for you and your bridal party to enjoy the morning and get ready in. With the statement copper bath taking centre stage in the open plan en suite bathroom, this bridal suite is a beautiful and romantic space to spend your wedding night.

The dedicated team, led by Sally Charlesworth, strives to customise every aspect of a couple’s big day. The in-house coordinator will discover your style and preferences and support you in the lead up to and on the day itself. The resident bartenders have a variety of bar packages to offer plenty of flexibility. With a choice of three approved caterers, you can tailor your meal to your tastes and budget. As well as the on-site bridal suite, there are plenty of local accommodation options including boutique BnB’s, guest houses and hotels.

The most magical venue we could have chosen ✨
Grange Barn truly is the most incredible and personal venue I have ever come across, and we couldn’t be happier that we were lucky enough to marry here ✨
This venue truly does allow you to put your own stamp on every single detail of your wedding day, and we got a that feeling from when we first viewed the venue!
It stood out from other venues a mile off because of the laid back feel and it really does feel as though your wedding is their only priority!
Both Sally and Rebecca are incredible at what they do, and the pair of them have made our whole wedding planning journey a very relaxed and stress free one!
The lead up to the day was so relaxed and the day it’s self was completely magical!
Every single one of our guests commented on how they had never been to a venue like it, and that it was so perfectly suited to us and our day. Without this venue our day wouldn’t have been quite so special, and we are so very thankful to this venue and all of the team for making our day so incredible 💖✨

The wedding venue of dreams!
We’re not really sure where to start with this venue of dreams! Firstly, we cannot thank Grange Barn, Rebecca and Stacey enough for making our wedding day so truly special. We’re not sure how we would have pulled it all off without their amazing support and organisation throughout the entire process! Unlike so many venues that we researched and viewed, we got this gorgeous venue and the beautiful Loft for the whole weekend and it was the best decision we could have made! So spacious and cosy, the venue has such a lovely family feel about it, and as a more introverted couple who just wanted to have a stress free and fun celebration with our loved ones we certainly had a day to remember! The gorgeous twinkly lights and the rustic decor lends so well so many different colour schemes and to all seasons, if we could do it all again (and we wish that we could) we would pick Grange Barn again x

Exceptional
Grange Barn is exceptional! We recently had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Grange Barn and we cannot say enough good things about this stunning venue. The barn itself is beautifully appointed—rustic yet refined, with thoughtful touches that made it the perfect backdrop for our special day. We were blessed with sunny weather, allowing us to fully enjoy the deck and garden area during the day, while the barn transformed into a wonderfully cosy and welcoming space as the evening cooled down. It felt like magic!
One of the things we loved most was the Friday-to-Sunday rental. Having the entire weekend to settle in, decorate, and really make ourselves at home was such a gift. It gave us time to breathe, soak in the experience, and enjoy every moment of our celebration.
The bridal suite (Loft) is an absolute haven. Spacious, beautifully styled, and perfectly set up for hair and makeup to feel unrushed and spacious. Staying there the night before and after the wedding felt like pure luxury, especially with the complimentary fizz and breakfast. We were thoroughly spoiled!
The staff at Grange Barn are truly something special. From the moment we started planning, Rebecca was our guide and guardian angel. She answered every question we had (and there were many!), offered brilliant ideas, and kept us calm and reassured throughout the entire process. On the day, Stacey was an absolute rockstar! She made the whole day flow effortlessly, solving problems before we even knew they existed. From helping us decorate on the Friday to coordinating every detail on the wedding day, Stacey and Rebecca went above and beyond, even arranging what felt like miles of fairy lights! They made everything perfect. We were genuinely touched by how professional, personable, and passionate everyone at Grange Barn was. They took the time to get to know us, and it felt like they were just as excited about our big day as we were. They made us feel so incredibly special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to bring our wedding vision to life.

The perfect day!
After viewing a few venues and not really finding one we fell in love with, we started to lose hope! We found The Grange Barn on hitched and booked to view, instantly as we pulled up we were blown away by how stunning the venue was (this was even completely stripped back with no venue dressing). From the minute we stepped in Sally and Rebecca have been nothing short of absolutely exceptional and have made the whole lead up to the wedding and the wedding day completely amazing! We had continuous support and check ins which made the wedding day completely seamless. The bar staff at vivid were amazing on the night and also so professional, we used the recommend DJ also through vivid entertainment and had us and guests up on the dance floor all night! We used big 5 catering which also exceeded our expectations, again on the lead up to the wedding Darren was easily contactable and gave us great recommendations, the food was amazing and they were also able to accommodate any diet requirements we had for our guests. Overall our day was absolutely perfect! The loft was an amazing place to stay and had plenty of room for getting ready (I had 8 bridesmaids, my mum, my sister and our flower girl getting ready, with a hair and makeup artist but there was still plenty of room without feeling compact. The venue as a whole and the grounds is so gorgeous (we certainly thought so and were told so by so many of our guests), it was exactly what we had imagined when we decided we didn’t want a hotel or church wedding. The Grange Barn will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Faultless service and stunning location
Grange Barn were absolutely amazing from the moment we first enquired, so welcoming and ‘nothing is too much’ attitude but not pushy at all. Our caterer went into administration three months before our big day and despite not being Grange barns fault they went above and beyond to call and help us rebook with another vendor, they made us feel calm in what could of been a stressful situation! Rebecca was absolutely amazing and managed everything speaking to all of my vendors confirming timings and set up she completely took all the stress away and allowed me to enjoy those final weeks before the wedding, Rebecca is like the ultimate maid of honour fixing anything before you even get chance to notice. This venue is not a conveyer belt of weddings you are not rushed to set up or clear away and you have the full attention for your weekend and are made to feel so special, we cannot thank Sally and Rebecca enough I am so glad I booked grange barn it was absolutely perfect and I recommend to anyone considering it!

BEST wedding venue ever!
We had our wedding day at Grange Barn on Saturday 1st June 2024 and it was honestly the most magical day.
The whole team at Grange Barn have been absolutely brilliant, I honestly can't thank Sally, Rebecca and Stacey enough. Myself and Jamie knew from the moment we viewed the venue that it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. It was the first time all our wedding guests had visited Grange Barn and they couldn't believe how stunning the venue in Cheshire is, not far from Nantwich!
We planned our wedding in just under 2 years and the communication and support we received throughout was superb. Rebecca really took the time to get to know us as couple and wanted to ensure we had the best day. We had a small hiccup with our caterers a couple of months before our special day and the reassurance and support we received was exceptional, the team did everything they could to help us find new caterer's, in which we successfully did. What could have been a very stressful time was actually the opposite and for that we are extremely grateful.
Not only was the venue perfect but we used their list of suppliers and booked our wedding photographer (Wyldbee), florist (Lily's Flower House) and Transport via their recommendations.
Last but no means leasts, the onsite bridal suite 'The Loft' is the absolute perfect accommodation for the bridal party the night before and then the bride and groom on the evening. The Loft has everything and more you could need, the bridal prep area is perfect and allows plenty of open space for the whole bridal party to get ready.
If you're looking for a beautiful barn and relaxed wedding venue then Grange Barn is absolutely the venue you need!

Incredible venue.
Where to begin!
We fell in love with grange barn, it was everything we wanted! But from dealing with the team, both Rebecca & Sally who were fabulous. Rebecca always messaging me back as soon as she could, and I had every inch of confidence in her on the day of the wedding and wow she was incredible! The food, we went with Samuel James, but the grange barn offers come of the best catering companies ever! And Vivid, wow. The team working the bar were just incredible. Rebecca made sure everyone worked together and I can only explain it as a little ‘family’.
We loved how stress free set up was, and with Rebecca there the entire time! But having it from the Friday really did make it special. We were made to feel so special.
Every guest commented about how spectacular the venue was, how all the little details made it that little bit extra & all the staff (again shout out to SJE & Vivid).
The loft, what a stunning bridal suite. So much space, everything provided that you would need, and the little details really make it special! You’ve really pulled it out the park with the suite.

Best Day Ever!
It’s going to be very hard to narrow it down to just 75 words to explain how good Grange Barn is as a venue!
But if you are thinking of booking this place for your wedding just do it!
We had the best day here and we have had nothing but amazing feedback from all the guests on how much they thought this venue is brilliant!
The process throughout from meeting Sally initially to look around to meeting with vendors and talking to Rebecca our coordinator has been so easy and stress free! They truly look after you and it’s such a personal experience, you feel at home as soon as you walk in! A massive selling point to us was the fact you have venue from the day before the wedding to set up as you wish and then til the morning after, so it takes the pressure off massively to decorate and make the place exactly how you imagine!
The venue itself is gorgeous with the views and its rustic vibes you barely need to do anything to dress it up as it’s so pretty, especially when it turns to sunset on that decking! The loft is so beautiful and that bath is just amazing! We had such a relaxed morning there getting ready and the fact you just have to walk over to the barn means you can enjoy getting ready without worrying about rushing!
The estate boys running the bar were fantastic too, again you feel like so personal to you, the staff are kind and up for a laugh and really helpful!
We had SJE cater also and again the experience was faultless and the feedback from guests has only been positive! If you want a relaxed, fun, rustic, one of a kind wedding then honestly I can’t recommend Grange Barn enough! Thank you Sally and team again! X

Perfection
I had my wedding at Grange Barn earlier this month and everything about it was perfect. As soon as we viewed the venue, we knew it was exactly what we wanted— it really strikes a balance between a cool & somewhat industrial style and a warm friendly atmosphere. It’s just a brilliant venue that’s been so well designed. For example, the overhead speakers in the dance area mean that people sitting in other parts of the venue can have a conversation at a normal volume, the on-site ceremony space removes so many logistical challenges of moving guests from point A to point B, and the deck area gets the most beautiful sunsets.
And the loft deserves a review of its own! It’s so convenient to get ready right at the venue, the attention to detail is spot on (eg the mirrors, toiletries, lighting, dress hooks, even electric outlet placement) , and it’s stunning!
Throughout the planning process, Rebecca was super professional and made us feel confident about the plan. On the day, Marcy was our coordinator and she made sure everything went so smoothly (and really made me feel looked after!).
Everything about this venue is just great. Huge huge huge thanks to the whole team. You made our day perfection!

The best wedding venue!
We knew as soon as we viewed Grange Barn that it was the perfect venue for our day. It’s such a beautiful venue - rustic and relaxed, exactly what we wanted. The Loft is also the perfect space to get ready with you girls in the morn, and then flop into bed at the end of the night!
The whole Grange Barn team were super helpful, professional, accommodating and flexible in the run up to the big day (allowing us access to the barn for additional viewings, helping us figure out the schedule for the day, letting us hang disco balls from the ceiling - I could go on!) They honestly couldn’t do more for us. Huge thank you to Sally, Sally and Rebecca for helping make our day so special x

The most magical day!
We knew from the moment we stepped through the doors that we wanted Grange Barn as our venue and it certainly did not disappoint. It’s even more stunning in person, especially with the lights on at night. We loved that they only had one wedding each weekend so we felt really relaxed about setting up on the Friday and could take our time to get everything exactly how we wanted it. The whole team were great every step of the way and we knew we were in safe hands! Waking up in ‘the loft’ the morning after was a real treat too, the views are gorgeous. If you’re thinking of booking, absolutely go for it!

Lovely place
Absolutely amazing venue. The wedding coordinator that is provided had been so helpful, she saved us several times in the planning process. The coordinator of the day was also very helpful and would try to accommodate any requests as much as she could.
Venue itself is beautiful on its own, and not a lot of decorating is required to make it look amazing. Our guest really enjoyed the patio especially in the hot summer weather, and you can't beat having a drink on it looking at the sunset.
Definitely one of the best choices we have made in the many decisions we made for our wedding.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our special day
We were lucky enough to get married at Grange Barn on August 4th 2022 after our special day was unfortunately cancelled due to covid restrictions the year before.
Sally and her team are unbelievable. I first met Sally on Zoom where she gave me a tour of the venue. We instantly knew that Grange Barn was the perfect venue for us - Sally is so personable and accommodating and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for anymore. Due to living abroad, we didn’t actually view the venue in person until after we’d paid our deposits but we’re so glad we took the risk. If you’re after a beautiful, rustic wedding venue then this is your place. The setting is just beautiful and we were so lucky to have a sunny day so we could take full advantage of the outdoor are. Sally helped us with sourcing vendors and was just overall a pleasure to deal with.
In the run up to the wedding and on the day, Rebecca, the venue’s wedding planner, went above and beyond. Even when I had an issue with our photographer on the day, she kept me calm and just made the day run so easily. Every bride needs a Rebecca on their wedding day!
I can’t thank you all enough for making our wedding day so perfect and couldn’t recommend Grange Barn enough to any couples looking for a venue for their special day ❤️❤️

Beautiful Country Wedding of Dreams 💫
Where do I begin. After visiting a number of barn venues around the country, we were blown away by Grange Barn. It just perfectly fit our vision of rustic country barn wedding. From our first visit right up to and including the day after the wedding, the team (Rebecca & Sally) were just brilliant. They accommodated us when we wanted to pop by for another look/planning prep, Rebecca was so responsive and helpful and rang me with advice and help when I had wedding stress. The value for money is incredible too as you get the use of the venue/loft for the entire weekend. Some other barns we looked at were overpriced and we only would have had use on the day!
I absolutely loved having the loft from the Friday - allowed us to get all our dresses etc hanging in there ready the day before and set up all our make up bits! The loft is also absolutely stunning. Of course we got a bridesmaid pic in the stand alone Bath!
Sally & Rebecca were also on hand the Friday and were so incredibly helpful and supportive. Sally on Saturday morning checked in with me by message just to make sure all was okay and if she needed to check in with any suppliers. Completely put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy my whole day.
We used Sam James Catering. Absolutely amazing- Shannon and Charlotte were so helpful all the way through from napkin and plate selection to food tasting. We were able to give our guests a choice of 3 meals which was so great. And the food was amazing.
Estate boys and the team were also incredible in the lead up (wine tasting and package selection/adaptation) and on the day. So friendly and no one was ever left without a drink!
I’d also like to give a shout out to Jacqui O Florals. She absolutely transformed the barn with her flower creations. Was a real wow moment for me. She completely understood my brief and considered our budget too.
I can’t fit everything into one review but we are over the moon with how our wedding went at Grange Barn. It was the best day and all our guests have been commenting for weeks on what an amazing venue it is (and we had guests from Australia & the USA!)
Would recommend it to anyone. Would do it all over again if we could and wouldn’t change a thing.
