This stunning Grade ll listed Georgian mansion amidst landscaped gardens offers a historic and exclusive setting for your wedding. Close to Richmond Park, Grove House has several beautiful rooms in which your celebrations can take place. Working with our list of accredited suppliers and dedicated on site events team we can accommodate a variety of weddings. The team, with their years of experience are on hand to help plan your perfect day and ensure you and your guests will leave with memories that everyone will be talking about for years to come.
Facilities and Capacity
Grove House can facilitate wedding ceremonies of up to 150 guests, increasing to 200 for evening celebrations. On arrival, guests are welcomed into the Portrait Room, where the main wedding ceremony can take place. Couples can coordinate their dates and times with Wandsworth, the local registrars. Groups arriving from a church service are greeted with drinks and canapes on the grounds. Music and entertainment options can be added here to heighten the ambience.
After spending time mingling and socializing, guests are shown into the Adam Room, where the wedding cake is on display. From here, everyone is guided to the Portrait Room to enjoy a three-course meal from one of the venue's special suppliers. Once the wedding speeches finish, the Terrace Room is transformed into a dancing area and full-service bar for the evening entertainment.
Services Offered
The staff at Grove House prides themselves on offering a high calibre of service. Couples can work with a designated event manager to organize the wedding according to their preferences. On the big day, this supervisor will oversee the celebration from start to finish. The venue partners with several catering teams in the vicinity, allowing to-be-weds to select a suitable menu. As the day draws to a close, guests are asked to vacate the manor by midnight. From here, they can book an overnight stay at the conference centre on the premises, which is a short walk away. The mansion is available to hire on Saturdays at any time of the year.

The Venue of Dreams!
I cannot recommend this venue enough!!! We fell in love from the moment we came to view it, such a stunning venue and perfect in any season! We had full support from Lucy throughout the planning process, super attentive and helpful. On the day, the team were the best coordinators and made the day go seamlessly! All the little details I had and all my DIY projects came to life, with the help on the team!! Honestly best decision choosing this venue and the team! Cannot fault them or the hard work they put into making it the best day of my life! Highly recommend 100000/10

Incredible venue for an incredible wedding
Lucy Paton and the entire staff of Grove House were very communicative and helpful throughout the wedding planning prices down to its execution.

Perfect from start to finish
Grove House was perfect from start to finish. The venue itself was breathtaking, setting the stage for an unforgettable event. They have us the wedding of our dreams. What truly made the experience seamless and stress-free was the exceptional organisation by Lucy. Her support was endless; every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly, with great attention to detail and helpful advice.
On the day of the wedding, everything was exactly as I had hoped. Lucy's dedication was evident, as nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I wish I could do it all over again and would highly recommend Grove House to anyone for their wedding! All guests loved it and so did we! Xx

Grove House is the perfect venue for an elegant, sophisticated, but also friendly and warm wedding reception. The team has been supportive and helpful at every stage of the planning process. Daniel and I felt much less worried as Jessica and Lucy took care of most details. The beautiful building cannot be appreciated until all your guests are making the magic happen. Daniel and I really appreciated the beauty of the terrace during our canapes service and each guest enjoyed the sunshine, the villa, and the excellent food provided by Saffron Caterers. We could not have asked for more. We genuinely thought that Grove House delivered much more than we have envisaged on the time of booking. Thanks, Alba and Daniel

A London venue that is both practical and beautiful
The whole team at Grove House were essential in making our big day feel so special. I cannot recommend them enough, they really made the entire day absolutely seamless and we didn't hear about a single thing going wrong. In the run up to the wedding we had meetings and felt very reassured about what will happen and how things will work, which is important for anyone who has not been married before.
The Portrait room was a spectacular place to get married in, the wood interiors are warm without feeling dark, so it suits any season. What first drew me to Grove House was the versatility of having 3 rooms to play with, as we had guests of all ages and it was good to have a respite space (we used the Adam room) for parents, kids, and older guests to rest away from the hustle and bustle.
The outdoor spaces were beautifully manicured and we were lucky to have the very instagrammable wisteria archway and other flowers in bloom at the time for those picture-perfect moments!
Another big bonus with Grove House is that they have a rare amenity that many London venues do not: Secure and plentiful parking. It also has good public transport links with several bus routes and a train station close by.

Beautiful wedding venue
We held our wedding reception at Grove House in August 2022 and it was just perfect! The venue is stunning and so many of our guests mentioned to us what a lovely place it was. There are several different rooms and areas so it was great for accommodating all ages. Anna & her team were super friendly and helpful in the planning process and were always there to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend Grove House to anyone planning their wedding!

Fantastic venue and amazing staff, couldn't recommend more!!
We visited a few venues before seeing Grove House but from our very first interaction, we really felt that the team there was highly experienced, dedicated and professional. We therefore decided to book it and we never looked back - this was truly the best decision!!
The whole team, Renata, Georgia, Alessandra and Julia were extremely helpful, friendly and responsive throughout the process, coordinating with suppliers and helping with booking the rooms at the conference centre as well (which has 30 rooms available, just 5 min walk away).
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, we had access to 3 huge rooms where we could rotate for our various ceremonies throughout the day.
The outdoor grounds have everything you would ask for: terrace overlooking the garden/fountain where we served lunch and canapés, flower arch for stunning photos, grassy area where we held our outdoor Indian ceremony, and so much more.
Our guests (c. 120) could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, how everything went so amazingly and perfectly! We barely had to get involved on the day, yet everything went so smoothly and that’s all thanks to the Grove House team!!
As an added bonus, we had our wedding in the middle of summer and the price was extremely competitive compared to other venues!

Grove House was our perfect venue
We loved our wedding at the beautiful Grove House and everything went just how we wanted it to! This is due to our event coordinators Renata and Lucy, who provided a lot of work behind the scenes -working with our vendors and were always on hand to respond quickly to any of our questions. A huge thanks to the Grove House team.
The venue itself is beautiful and we were lucky that in early April we had some lovely spring sunshine and so we were able to utilise the whole space and gardens for our 150 guests. The lawn terrace is the perfect place to have the reception drinks and canapés.
We would highly recommend this venue.

I can’t recommend enough… AMAZING VENUE, AMAZING TEAM
WOW an absolute amazing venue and even more amazing team. We can’t thank Grove House enough for making our wedding so special and run without any issue. Book them now, you won’t regret it!!!

What a day!
Firstly, thank you Grove House. There was so much uncertainty in the run up to the wedding and with restrictions only lifting a few weeks before the planning team kept me calm, kept assuring me that everything would be ok.
We had to make some last minute changes as our numbers increased (note: make sure you are clear with them about your numbers!). They were so accommodating with helpful advice. I did not worry about anything on the day .
Grove House is a beautiful venue and even though it rained for a short time we were still able to get some stunning wedding photos.

A Dream experience
Having Grove House as our wedding reception Venue was the best decision as it was such a dreamy experience. From day one it was so easy to communicate with the team and they were always flexible given the fact we lived abroad. Our Coordinator Lucy was exceptional, having her on the lead up and on the day made us feel so relaxed as we 100% trusted Lucy to deal with any decisions or mishaps. the day went SEAMLESSLY even with a few last minute changes. The venue is so beautiful and our guests kept commenting on how beautiful it was. We could not recommend this venue any more!
