Halifax Hall is a wedding venue located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This remarkable boutique hotel is a magical setting for couples looking to host their fairytale wedding event. With a number of elegantly-appointed event spaces and luxurious rooms, this picture-perfect venue is sure to impress you and your loved ones.
Facilities and Capacity
Halifax Hall is the perfect place to host intimate celebrations with up to 150 guests in attendance. You can choose to hold your Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast, and Evening Reception here or just the evening party!
The period detailing found throughout the property adds an element of luxury to your celebration. On the day of your event, you and your guests will have exclusive use of the property, ensuring that you can enjoy a fully tailored experience.
In addition to the Victorian mansion's versatile event spaces, there are 38 en-suite bedrooms, allowing newlyweds and guests to extend their stay. The Wedding Suite can be used by the wedding party on the morning of the ceremony, allowing you and your nearest and dearest to prepare to walk down the aisle in style.

The team at Halifax Hall offers a wide range of services for you to choose from. With carefully curated wedding packages available, you and your beloved can choose between all-inclusive and bespoke packages, depending on your preferences.
Yours will be the only event on the day so everyone will be on hand to assist you with anything you may need. The in-house coordination team will work with you from start to finish to ensure that every last detail is executed to your satisfaction. We can let you know about suppliers we have worked with before if you need any help in choosing photographers, florists, or anything else!
The catering team will work with you to create a delicious meal for you and your loved ones as you celebrate. Additionally, the space can accommodate live entertainment, a DJ, and has a large dance floor, allowing you to dance the night away.
We are happy to sit down with couples and go through their vision for their big day and create a bespoke package that is perfect for each individual couple!

The perfect day!
Eleanor was our wedding coordinator and she was super helpful with all my various questions and emails! I was nervous about leaving the decorating up to someone else, but stepping into both our ceremony room and our reception room, everything was exactly how I pictured it!
The grounds were perfect for outdoor photos, plenty of green space and beautiful flowers.
Halifax Hall also catered to our fully vegan wedding perfectly! From the start of wedding planning I pictured us having bangers and mash as our main course - they knocked it out of the park! All the food was perfect, and the evening buffet was so varied as well. Most of our guests aren't vegan, and they were surprised at how much they loved the food!
I love venues where you can spend the night, have your ceremony, and have your reception all in one place. I was even able to have my included breakfast brought up to the room the morning of the wedding! The hospitality in general was excellent and everything just went so smoothly.
I'm really happy with how our wedding played out. All of our guests were so happy and comfortable too, and I can't thank Halifax Hall enough.

Hannah, Amy and all the team were absolutely fantastic, always on hand and ready to help with anything we needed. They made the whole experience stress-free, and we felt completely looked after from start to finish. Our wedding day was more than we could have hoped for, and Halifax Hall was the perfect setting for it. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Great wedding venue - location responsiveness and value for money
Hannah always replied promptly and we had confidence in her abilities. There was some inflexibility in certain areas of provision based on policy. More staff at the bar would have been better. The staff helped to clear things very well and were very responsive.
The rooms were good especially the suite

Eleanor was our wedding co-ordinator and was amazing every step of the way.
Everyone commented on how gorgeous the food was, both the table top picnics and the hot buffet in the evening.

A perfect day
We can’t thank you enough for all of your help in a very difficult run up to our wedding due to COVID - one that I’m sure no one could have imagined! Everyone we dealt with was so understanding and ensured that even with all of the changes and difficulties our planning and the wedding day itself ran smoothly.
On the day we were so relaxed and didn’t have to worry about how or when things were happening as it was all sorted by you! Even before we had thought about things they had already been done and sorted. We had so many compliments on the food so want to say a big thank you to anyone who was involved in the wedding breakfast.
Again, we wanted to thank you so much for the day. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The day ran so smoothly and that is thanks to all of you at Halifax Hall. We would definitely recommend you for future events and weddings, and we have already said that we will be back for our first anniversary!

Our team of expert coordinators can help create a completely bespoke package for your wedding day and show you where your stunning ceremony would take place. You will be able to take advantage of the tours around our alternative wedding venue and view the reception spaces where you will be joined by friends and family for your special celebration.
