We had our wedding last December at the Malthouse. We had a lovely day here. All the guest loved the vibe, decoration, and the food. The venue already provided Christmas theme decoration, we only hired a different supplier for table decoration with a matching theme. The chef helped us to decorate our wedding cake. Absolutely gorgeous! We fell in love with this venue right the first time visiting it. We’re so happy that we chose this place.

Thanks so much for a wonderful day! The staff at The Venue were fantastic, and Jade and Nicola and the team were brilliant at helping us to organise it all. The only problem was how quickly the day went! Can we do it again please?

We got married here in May and I honestly say it was perfect. Diane was brilliant, helping us so much with the planning and preparation. Every detail was considered. The staff pulled out all the stops on the day and the venue looked beautiful and really different. All our guests have raved about it ever since! Thank you so much to all the team for all your help, and if you are considering getting married here, do it! you won't regret it! ??

Well where do we start... We booked our wedding here for 18/08/2018. We fell in love with the place once we had been shown around , it fitted with what we wanted with it having rooms for our guests who had to travel to spend our big day with us. We decided on a vintage theme wedding with traditional afternoon tea which we were assured could be done no problem. Not all of the venues we enquired about could do this on such a large scale. Every meeting had with Claire & Kevin was pretty much informal effortless but pretty much to the point which made us feel relaxed & nothing seemed to phase either of them. We had a image in our minds of how the day would be and the team at the hobbit delivered a day far more than we could of ever imagined it too be like. The room was perfect... the ceremony went like clock work...the afternoon tea was a real success even catering for my wife's allergy was no problem at all for the chef and his team... its definitely the best afternoon we've ever had and that was echoed by our guests... the whole team pulled together under Claire's leadership and delivered a day that our guests are still talking about now and will be for a long time to come. The team at the hobbit made our day perfect one we shall never forget. We cannot thank you all enough for the effort put in by the whole hobbit team for our day and special thanks to Claire & Kevin they are the nicest people you can hope to deal with. We had our wedding reception at The Fleece on 12/08/17. What a wonderful day! Right from the first visit, Emma-Jayne, Harriet and the team could not have done anything more for us. The room, the food, the views, the bedrooms (and even the weather!) were all fantastic. If you're undecided on a venue, get yourself along to one of their open days, you'll be amazed. We have just returned from honeymoon and we wanted to drop you an email to say thank you to yourself and to moorlands for hosting our wedding reception on the 27th May. Everybody commented how much they were impressed by Moorlands the Marquee and particularly how good the food was. Lynn and I were very pleased with our decision to use Moorlands, you made us both feel very comfortable that everything that we had agreed would be done. The day went as well as it could, weather wasn’t perfect but the rain managed to stay away and we got lots of photographs. So again, a massive thank you, to you and all at Moorlands.

W couldnt fault the service at Holdsworth House. All the staff worked their utmost to make sure our day went like a dream. We held the service, reception and eevning party and all was fantastic. The food, location and staff were all fantastic.
