We got married here in June 2021 and would pick this venue over and over again. We experienced the most friendly yet professional service throughout our whole wedding journey and nothing was too much to ask for Adrian and his team. We desperately wanted to get married outside and Adrian was hauling chairs out of the barns on our wedding morning (the sun had finally appeared) to make this a reality! We've watched the barns develop from the beginning and the final picture is more than we could have ever imagined. The barns are of the highest standard and we promise you wont look anywhere else after viewing Hanbury!

We booked Hanbury just before they were taken over (if we had known we would have chosen a different location), we were promised a load of things like being able to setup the day before etc etc when we booked and when the new owners took over that was no longer the case which caused alot of panic for us.

While the team handled alot of the questions and queries, there was a lack of communication between the team as I ended up repeating myself many times over and fighting the same fires throughout the process.

On the day, while things were setup on time things were missed or not done correctly in line with the notes that I had left such as napkins on the table, signage etc. It's one of those things but could have been avoided if we could have setup the day before - especially as there wasn't a wedding. It ended up being a busy and stressful morning for me and my wedding party trying to get everything done ahead of trying to get ready.

I feel that the venue doesn't cater for DIY weddings so just be warned if this is something you did want to do, as this may not be the venue for you.

The pods were great and clean, but one of the staff was rude to my family when checking in which caused unnecessary stress for them.

On the whole, lovely venue, but improvements for DIY brides need to be considered, the team had the lists of everything that was coming to venue and how I wanted it setting up, if me and my bridal party didn't setup what we did, it wouldn't have been done in time. Apparently the tables weren't set-up in time when the ceremony finished either. Especially if there isn't a wedding the day before, you should be allowed to setup as much as you want or need to. As it was so stressful when it didn't need to be!!

Thank you to everyone in the Hanbury team. You were all so helpful both during the planning stages and on both of our wedding days! Thank you for being flexible with our requests, for creating a relaxed environment for us to enjoy our big day. We appreciate all your support and hard work!

We got married at Hanbury a couple of weeks ago and we had the most perfect day. Sarah made sure our day ran so smoothly and we can't thank her enough. The venue itself is so beautiful and we really felt looked after. We thought it was such good value for money, especially compared to other wedding venues of a similar style, however we did book it nearly 2 years ago now.

Hanbury was on our list from the very start when we wanted a barn style wedding venue. The venue was perfectly situated and was wheelchair accessible- a must with four wheelchair users attending our wedding! In addition, dog friendly so our four legged family member could also attend! From the very start we were made to feel welcomed by Hanbury- our wedding coordinator Sarah was fantastic! We had nothing but compliments from our guests and I would recommend the venue to anyone getting married- even if I feel a little protective over it! It’s our wedding venue!

What a day!! Fabulous people, beautiful venue and we were helped so well throughout the day!

I had driven by on the way to work day after day and watched this venue being created so when we started the search I knew we had to have a look.
The atmosphere in the barns throughout our wedding reception was amazing, the venue was very well presented and backed up by a team who were there with us every step of the way, it looked amazing.
The team were always very helpful and answered any questions we had promptly, the way the team liased with the rest of the suppliers on the day meant that we could just sit back and take in the wonder of it all.
We have received a number of compliments on the venue of choice and I will be recommending Hanbury every chance that we get!

We were looking for a venue with a rustic feel, outdoor space, and some form of water feature/body of water to host our summer wedding. We fell in love with this place when it was little more than sketches and it has been incredible to see it develop.
The venue itself is beautiful but when styled by Louise at Lush Occasions, it goes into a whole other league!
There were options for the ceremony to be indoors or outdoors and we were able to switch up plans from using the goregous Eland barn to the more intimate Woodend barn after we decided to reduce numbers in case any covid restrictions came into place.
The venue was all on one level (except for the Eland barn which we didn't use) so disabled, wheelchair and pushchair access were brilliant.
My new husband and I were both able to get ready at the venue in the lovely preparation rooms and there was plenty of parking for our guests, along with spacious and clean toilets.
Adrian was fabulous and clearly knows what he's talking about having decided to open his own venue after working as a wedding photographer.
A stunning little venue with everything we could have wanted and more.

We married here in 2nd November 2020, on what was our 4th date! With just 24 hours notice, we pulled our wedding forward from 7th November.
The Barns are stunning, and on our first visit, we knew we had found our wedding venue, even while still being built! The barns have been finished just beautifully, and even from early on, it was easy to see what a gorgeous venue this was to become! Flooded with natural light, it is a dream for photo's! Having 3 separate rooms makes the day seamless! The bridal suite is just stunning and feels effortlessly luxurious! Attention has clearly been paid to the smallest of details, with only the best bulbs to light the make-up station, to the USB plug sockets, allowing for phone charging while hair tools can still be used.

It is easy to see that Hanbury Wedding Barn is a truly beautiful venue, for us, it was the team that puts this venue head & shoulders above all the others we saw. Adrian is so warm and welcoming. Extremely encouraging and effortless to work with. Always available on the other end of the phone to bounce idea's of, not to mention how open he was to any idea we through his way! His positivity in what was a difficult time is truly infectious and we always felt as though nothing was too much, every detail of our day was as important to him as it was to us.
The entire family and team have been truly exceptional from start to finish, and if we had the choice again, we would choose Hanbury over again! You can definitely feel that this is a family business.

I couldn't recommend hanbury barns enough, from the moment we looked around right up to our special day was just amazing.

Staff and venue was amazing! They made our wedding day the best it could be! Communication was great and they made sure we achieved what we wanted on our wedding!

We were so excited to find Hanbury Barn to celebrate our Wedding day, it offered an amazing and magical feel. We were due to get married in the November but sadly in the January received some devastating news and was diagnosed with cancer and uncertain to what the future held with made a difficult decision to cancel our wedding.
Due to the exceptional circumstances we asked Hanbury if we could be refunded our deposit, all other providers had acknowledged our circumstances and had fully refunded.
Hanbury Barn were quite the opposite and showed little compassion or understanding of our position and their handling of it was very cold and matter of fact and so disappointed with their response and support it would not be a place we feel we could chose when that time is right again
