We had an amazing day. The registrar mixed up the times so we had a delay for the ceremony which rolled on through the day. The hotel team sorted the registrar for us and rescheduled the rest of the day accordingly.

We got married at Hellaby Hall on the 23rd August. It was simply the most lovely and perfect day. The staff were smiling and attentive throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, every little thing had been thought of. The food was superb and drinks were flowing. I felt like a queen for the day and totally relaxed. Hellaby Hall is the perfect venue for a wedding!

We got married on the 18th March 2022 at hellaby hall hotel.

We were able to go in the day before to set up our wedding, all of the staff the day before couldn’t do anymore for us, whatever we asked for they accommodated so well and helped with lots of the setting up.

I stayed the night previous with my family & bridesmaids. We had a meal the night previous the staff were amazing and so was the food, I even got a complementary glass of fizz that was a lovely touch.

Later that night I realised that I’d not sorted reserved seats out for the ceremony, Josh on reception typed and printed the names out for me & brought them up to the restaurant. I was already impressed with the kindness and services from the hotel staff!

That morning we went down for breakfast and breakfast was amazing - my stepdaughter even commented how good breakfast was!

Throughout the morning of the wedding all of the staff were amazing keeping me informed of what’s going to happen and what’s going to happen next and timings.

The Irish lady called Becky came to introduce herself and we both really can’t talk highly enough of her. She was so reassuring and clearly knew how we wanted out day to go.

She helped me up to the bridal suit with all my belongings (there was a lot) and talked me through what was going to happen next - we went down to see the registrars and she organised all my bridesmaids and flower girls, we walked over to the ceremony room and she guided everyone in the right direction and made it so so well organised!

After we had got married we had a little time in the beautiful gardens with our wedding guests - each guest got a bottle of beer or glass of Prosecco.
We had canapés while we were having photos and socialised, we had mini burgers, fish and chips and toad in the hole, I can honestly say these were divine, lots of our guests commented how amazing these were.

After Becky showed me and chris the reception room to make sure it was what we had imagined. The staff of hellaby had gone above and beyond to make the room as perfect as we wanted!
We then sat in another room and waited for our guests to be seated. Becky got us both another drink nothing was too much for her she was always making sure we were having an amazing time.

Then we sat down for dinner, Becky helped me sit on my chair as my dress was so big and the meal was served and cleared quickly and it was a beautiful tasting meal.
We had prawn cocktail and beef spring rolls to start which were lovely. In our final meeting we asked for some sauce with the spring rolls and the hotel listened to our wishes and the sweet chilli they put with this complimented the spring rolls.
For mains we had the beef and chicken, the Yorkshire puddings were amazing they were huge. Each table was provided with extra gravy.
For desert we had Bakewell tart and trio of chocolate which was lovely.
Each course was perfectly served and tasted amazing. We couldn’t fault this.

After we had our meal we all went back to the bar and the staff reset our room, they completely changed things the way we wanted. The room looked amazing.

The evening buffet, there was a good selection my step daughter said the chicken wings were amazing! All the other buffet food looked amazing and lots of our family and friends commented how amazing the food was

We couldn’t have asked for any better service or attention to detail than we got. We throughly enjoyed our day and will highly recommend hellaby hall hotel in the future.

We had our wedding here on the 20th May 2017 and wow what a service we received.
Chloe, Rachael and Sarah was brilliant from the start with helping plan and make the day what it was.
We would especially like to mention the amazing service we received from William, he couldn't do enough for us and made the day so special, that man deserves a medal....

We got married on the 4th of August 2017 at Hellaby hall and wow the staff were amazing they couldn't be more helpful in making my day special they went over and beyond their job roles and I can't thank you all enough , we had spa treatments night before and a meal which was out of this world all my bridal party loved it and couldn't get enough of the food the rooms were fantastic and the grounds were perfect for my photos ,this venue is a little diamond in the rough and in a year a two this venue will be winning awards and getting the recognition it deserves thank you again for a day I won't forget x

I got married here 28th may this year and it was absolutely amazing! the staff went above and beyond to make our special day extra special and I can't thank them enough from start to finish. I can't recommend this hotel enough!
Also stayed the night a few weeks ago and again it was an amazing stay. the food and staff was amazing and really made our stay. it was great to be able to enjoy the hotel without all the wedding rush!

We’ve just spent the weekend with you at our niece’s wedding. In addition to the great food served during the ceremony and at breakfast time, I’d like to praise your staff for their very friendly and professional manner in all departments. Reception, bar staff, room service, leisure centre, servers during breakfasts and during our niece’s wedding ceremony - All were first class. Held our wedding reception here yesterday and Hellaby Hall were so accommodating, I genuinely could not have wished for a more picturesque or friendly venue. Absolutely perfect. Rooms were to a high standard, and the fretwell suite was just AMAZING! Thank you, Highly recommend it.

We held our wedding here on Saturday 15th August 2015... Every minute was enjoyable, the day ran smoothly with no hiccups, the staff couldn't do enough for you (even coming to kill a spider in the bedroom as I was frightened and it huge, in the middle of the night)... The food was superb, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable and breakfast was great too! The only part of the hotel I didn't visit, was the spa but the rest of it is fantastic. You are all doing a great job at turning that hotel around! And thank you to each and every one of the staff who made our special day possible :)

We got married at Hellaby Hall Hotel on the 9th July 2016. We had the most amazing day imaginable. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, we was relaxed the whole day knowing that the staff were keeping everything in order from start to finish. All our guests commented on how gorgeous the gardens and grounds were and we have got some amazing photographs outside the 17th century Manor House.
I got ready in the Fretwell (Bridal) Suite and this was perfect, again fantastic photographs taken in the natural light.
Chrissie the wedding Co-ordinator was amazing all the way through, she was a star and will do anything to make your day perfect. The Events Manager on the day was absolutely remarkable. I would defiantly recommend having your wedding here. The package we opted included lots. It was a truly magnificent day. I could re-live it over and over.
