We had an amazing day. The registrar mixed up the times so we had a delay for the ceremony which rolled on through the day. The hotel team sorted the registrar for us and rescheduled the rest of the day accordingly.

Really is the perfect place that's all I really can say both wedding coordinators was fantastic

Perfect venue at a reasonable cost. We had a brilliant day and night, all staff were friendly and helpful, really made us feel special. Jess was brilliant start to finish.

We got married here in September, our experience was mostly positive. Jess and the wedding team were excellent throughout, very in tune with what we wanted and made the arrangements stress free. Jess went above and beyond to ensure our day was exactly what we had visioned.We had the vintage package with afternoon tea. The food was lovely and plenty of it. The hotel itself is beautiful and all staff lovely (our guests commented on the helpfulness and politeness of the staff) however the evening reception was a bit disappointing, the DJ didn't read the room and although he was given requests he seemed to do his own thing. I did ask him to play the requests and he said he was working his way through them ( even though very few were played) the cake was brought out on a platter with no plates or napkins, the evening staff and bar staff were very young and didn't really know what they were doing. Although we had a good night, it was abit haphazard. If I could do it all again I would get my own DJ or evening entertainment, but overall the location, the wedding day, and the wedding planners were perfect.

We got married at hellaby hall on the 5th oct 2024 the staff was so helpful from the start any questions I had I just rang up and put through to jess or emma and if they wasn't available they got back in touch as soon as they could sometimes as quick as next day the day couldn't of gone better the co ordinator explained everything nothing was too much trouble all the guests said how lovely the food was and how nice and clean the rooms was if you want the wedding of your dreams you won't be disappointed with hellaby if I could do it again I would

We had our wedding at Hellaby Hall Hotel on Friday 18th October 2024. It was the most magical day - exactly what we envisioned and more. We booked back in August 2022 when Megan was the wedding coordinator and she was brilliant. When Jess took over after Megan changed roles I was a little bit worried but can't fault Jess one bit. In fairness we can't fault any of the staff at Hellaby Hall Hotel who we have had interactions with. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing and easy planning process and the most perfect wedding day. Ellie was our Master of Ceremonies on the day and she was absolutely amazing again going above and beyond! We will recommend the staff and venue until we are blue in the face as everything was perfect and still a month everyone is talking about how magical our special day was. The location is perfect for wedding pictures - so many excellent places for stunning pictures.

The wedding planners at Hellaby Hall are wonderful, nothing was too much to ask, always received quick responses to my many questions and requests and they were flexible allowing us to tweak certain things. On the wedding day it’s self our coordinator was nothing short of amazing. She guided us through everything, ran around doing everything she could to make the day perfect and kept checking up on us right until we went to bed for the night. Perfect venue.

We got married at Hellaby Hall on the 23rd August. It was simply the most lovely and perfect day. The staff were smiling and attentive throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, every little thing had been thought of. The food was superb and drinks were flowing. I felt like a queen for the day and totally relaxed. Hellaby Hall is the perfect venue for a wedding!

We got married on the 18th March 2022 at hellaby hall hotel.

We were able to go in the day before to set up our wedding, all of the staff the day before couldn’t do anymore for us, whatever we asked for they accommodated so well and helped with lots of the setting up.

I stayed the night previous with my family & bridesmaids. We had a meal the night previous the staff were amazing and so was the food, I even got a complementary glass of fizz that was a lovely touch.

Later that night I realised that I’d not sorted reserved seats out for the ceremony, Josh on reception typed and printed the names out for me & brought them up to the restaurant. I was already impressed with the kindness and services from the hotel staff!

That morning we went down for breakfast and breakfast was amazing - my stepdaughter even commented how good breakfast was!

Throughout the morning of the wedding all of the staff were amazing keeping me informed of what’s going to happen and what’s going to happen next and timings.

The Irish lady called Becky came to introduce herself and we both really can’t talk highly enough of her. She was so reassuring and clearly knew how we wanted out day to go.

She helped me up to the bridal suit with all my belongings (there was a lot) and talked me through what was going to happen next - we went down to see the registrars and she organised all my bridesmaids and flower girls, we walked over to the ceremony room and she guided everyone in the right direction and made it so so well organised!

After we had got married we had a little time in the beautiful gardens with our wedding guests - each guest got a bottle of beer or glass of Prosecco.
We had canapés while we were having photos and socialised, we had mini burgers, fish and chips and toad in the hole, I can honestly say these were divine, lots of our guests commented how amazing these were.

After Becky showed me and chris the reception room to make sure it was what we had imagined. The staff of hellaby had gone above and beyond to make the room as perfect as we wanted!
We then sat in another room and waited for our guests to be seated. Becky got us both another drink nothing was too much for her she was always making sure we were having an amazing time.

Then we sat down for dinner, Becky helped me sit on my chair as my dress was so big and the meal was served and cleared quickly and it was a beautiful tasting meal.
We had prawn cocktail and beef spring rolls to start which were lovely. In our final meeting we asked for some sauce with the spring rolls and the hotel listened to our wishes and the sweet chilli they put with this complimented the spring rolls.
For mains we had the beef and chicken, the Yorkshire puddings were amazing they were huge. Each table was provided with extra gravy.
For desert we had Bakewell tart and trio of chocolate which was lovely.
Each course was perfectly served and tasted amazing. We couldn’t fault this.

After we had our meal we all went back to the bar and the staff reset our room, they completely changed things the way we wanted. The room looked amazing.

The evening buffet, there was a good selection my step daughter said the chicken wings were amazing! All the other buffet food looked amazing and lots of our family and friends commented how amazing the food was

We couldn’t have asked for any better service or attention to detail than we got. We throughly enjoyed our day and will highly recommend hellaby hall hotel in the future.

We had our wedding here on the 20th May 2017 and wow what a service we received.
Chloe, Rachael and Sarah was brilliant from the start with helping plan and make the day what it was.
We would especially like to mention the amazing service we received from William, he couldn't do enough for us and made the day so special, that man deserves a medal....

We got married on the 4th of August 2017 at Hellaby hall and wow the staff were amazing they couldn't be more helpful in making my day special they went over and beyond their job roles and I can't thank you all enough , we had spa treatments night before and a meal which was out of this world all my bridal party loved it and couldn't get enough of the food the rooms were fantastic and the grounds were perfect for my photos ,this venue is a little diamond in the rough and in a year a two this venue will be winning awards and getting the recognition it deserves thank you again for a day I won't forget x

I got married here 28th may this year and it was absolutely amazing! the staff went above and beyond to make our special day extra special and I can't thank them enough from start to finish. I can't recommend this hotel enough!
Also stayed the night a few weeks ago and again it was an amazing stay. the food and staff was amazing and really made our stay. it was great to be able to enjoy the hotel without all the wedding rush!
