Facilities and Capacity

There are two locations where you can host your wedding celebrations at Hever Castle, either the Astor Wing which offers the opportunity to incorporate the Castle, or in the Italian Garden, incorporating the lakeside Loggia and the Guthrie Pavilion.

The Astor Wing is a private wing of the Castle, dating back to 1903, designed in Tudor style to complement the venue's history. This exclusive-use setting offers an oak-panelled ceremony room that overlooks the Castle and formal lawns, there's an ornate dining room with fine paintings and private lawns for drinks receptions. It's ideal for intimate ceremonies from 20 to 60 guests. The Castle Inner Hall and Castle Dining Room can be incorporated into your Astor Wing celebration. There are a options to incorporate an evening reception into an Astor Wing wedding, either in a tipi or stretch tent on the lawns or in The Moat Restaurant.

An Italian Garden wedding offers couples the opportunity to host a wedding in the stunning Italian Garden, surrounded by a multitude of scented roses, mediterranean plantings and Italian sculpture. Get married under the arched columns of the Italian Loggia, which overlooks the 38-acre lake, enjoy a wedding breakfast and evening reception in the palladian-inspired Guthrie Pavilion. Guest numbers up to 180, licenced until 1am.
