Went to a wedding here in June, and wished id booked my own wedding to be there but alas!

It gives the perfect cosy and remote feeling whilst also being pretty close to the nearest town of Battle that has everything you need last minute.

The views from the garden are so lovely, all woodland and a few cute sheep but not a single other house in sight. And then the house itself is really lovely, and perfect size for the main wedding party to get ready in and have a nice dinner etc the night before.

It was beautiful at sunset too with all the little fairy lights and lanterns around.

What can we say? Hidden Acres exceeded all of our expectations! From the farmhouse to the beautiful gardens and breathtaking views, everything was perfect. The entire day ran so smoothly, and the venue has such a unique charm—it felt incredibly private, which made the experience even more special. We loved having exclusive access for three days, allowing us to wake up on-site with all our friends for a fun wedding debrief the next morning. It truly made the celebration feel extra memorable!

The flat rate fee at Hidden Acres made planning easy. They provided everything we needed—like the property, marquee, tables, chairs, and even access to the styling shed, which saved us a lot of money! We also made use of their lawn games, which added a fun touch to the overall atmosphere.

The coordinator support was fantastic—Sarah gave us a thorough briefing and made sure every detail was covered. Sarah also oversaw the entire day, working closely with our bridesmaids and groomsmen to ensure everyone was where they needed to be and that we stayed on schedule.

For food, we opted for a hog roast, which was a huge hit with our guests! Hidden Acres allows you to choose your own catering. We also enjoyed free corkage during the day, which was a great bonus!

My husband and I were among the first couples to get married at Hidden Acres, and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue! We had 100 guests during the day, with an additional 20 joining us in the evening. On the night before the wedding, 14 of us checked into the Farmhouse. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable!

The afternoon before the wedding was spent adding our personal touches to the marquee, followed by an early night. Waking up on the property made everything feel so special. With three master bedrooms, both the groomsmen and bridesmaids could get ready in separate rooms, which made the morning even more relaxed. Sneakily watching our guests arrive from the house was a delightful experience!

The ceremony lawn is absolutely stunning—sweeping countryside views and a perfectly flat lawn made for a picturesque setting. The venue provided chairs, a PA system, and a sound engineer, which gave us peace of mind knowing everyone could clearly hear the ceremony.

Afterward, the venue brought out lawn games, and our guests had plenty of seating and shade. At 3:45, we were called to the marquee, which was bright, airy, and perfect for our reception. The sides could be rolled up to allow for extra airflow, which was a welcome relief on the warmer afternoon. The venue provided all the tables and chairs. We provided corkage-free drinks from 1-5 pm, and at 5, the venue’s fully stocked bar opened with all the popular drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly, and Sarah ensured everything ran smoothly. It was such a relief knowing all the details were being looked after so we could truly relax and enjoy the day.

Sarah’s meticulous planning helped us prepare for every detail in advance. We opted for paella catering, which was fantastic! The day felt magical, and the sunset over the meadow created breathtaking photos that we’ll cherish forever.

We partied until 11 pm, when quiet hours began. Then we gathered around the campfire for the rest of the evening, continuing the celebration in a more intimate setting. The venue also provided three bell tents, allowing more of our friends to stay on-site. Additionally, we had free access to the props and styling shed, we choose a range of rugs, pillows, milk churns, and lanterns to add that touch.

A massive thank you to Hidden Acres for allowing us to be one of the first couples to marry here! The day was organised with military precision, and it was, without a doubt, the best day of my life.
