We got married at hilton house hotel on the 18th June 2022. We had a fantastic day, everything was perfect, thanks to all the staff. The whole day ran smoothly from the actual ceremony to the wedding breakfast to the evening do! The food was fantastic for our wedding breakfast and the evening buffet was spot on. The bar staff did a brilliant job at keeping everyone hydrated. Staff were so professional and nothing was to much trouble.

At the start, we were guided by Anthony, very professional and nothing was too much hassle, calm, attentive and very knowledgeable and we can't thank you enough. Hilton House is a small family run independent Hotel with 10 letting bedrooms, all redecorated between Jan - June 2017 The building is over 150 years old and has been converted from an old family home producing a quirky layout with later additions including a 100-seated function room with dance floor. We are old, we have decorated bedrooms in a more modern style but the main building does have an older feel about its decor, which has all been redecorated at least twice in the last 6 years. Food is available from 12pm till 3pm then back at 5.30pm till 8.30pm Monday till Saturday then Sunday is 12pm till 4.30pm.

Amazing Wedding Venue
We held our Wedding at the Hilton house hotel last weekend and we can truly say the day was perfect.
We held both ceremony and reception at the hotel so we didnt have to drag people around.
The planning meetings were held in depth with all details considered. When asked what space we would be allocated outside we were pleasantly suprised that all the garden area was roped off for just the wedding party. The rooms were beautfully decorated and if there was something that couldnt be supplied the staff made every effort to obtain this for us to save us the hassle.
On the day itself everything was as planned, the staff were dressed for the occasion also and it was such a good spacing with the outdoor pods, play area for kids, we ordered a bouncy castle that fit in. There was a dance floor and seating above and also the bar in a seperate room with tables for people that wanted to chill. It really allowed the guests to do what they wanted to. Parents were able to enjoy themselves with the kids catered for.
We had a DJ who catered for every request and the buffet was beautiful, hot and cold of which the feedback from guests were that it was delicious.
We asked for a couple more tables to be added to the dancefloor area as a few more guests turned up than anticipated and the tables were out within 5 mins. Every request was catered for instantly.
We then held a breakfast for 25 people the next day that was beautiful, this was a cooked buffet breakfast that the staff even put the table decorations out from the day before which we hadnt asked for, such a lovely touch.
I cannot thank and credit the staff enough for making our day so special
