What an amazing venue and team to go with it. Hockwold Hall was the first and last venue we visited as we booked it right away!! The venue is even more stunning in real life; we got married outside and our guests were complimentary about the venue and the staff throughout. It is essentially a blank canvas decoration wise, but the grounds are so stunning, it wouldn’t look plain if heavy decor isn’t your thing! We will be spreading the word about this venue far and wide, because it currently feels like Norfolk’s best kept secret!! I can’t quite put into words how amazing this venue is. We stayed in Hockwold Inn the night before our Wedding and additionally hired the Inn for the wedding evening too for our guests. The dance floor is also ACE! Richard, Allison, Anna and all the team were truly incredible and we cannot thank them enough for helping us have such a perfect day. Thank you so much to Richard and the team for a truly unforgettable Wedding day! 💕

My husband and I had our wedding here in August. Richard and Anna were really fantastic running things on the day, as were their tied-in suppliers Julia (of My Fleur decor/design) and Holly at Shefs catering. We had some odd requests and they rolled with every single one of them as if it was nothing. Rooms were beautiful, the marquee is great and the grounds are stunning without being overly prim/hotel-like. Super flexible and super wonderful. Cannot recommend enough. What a stunning venue, what a lovely experience overall. From when me and my wife had our first meeting at Hockwold Hall to our wedding day there, I can honestly say it has been a fantastic and smooth experience, they kept us in the loop, very accomodating, friendly and such a lovely team overall. If you are looking for a wedding venue I am confident in saying there is no equal and anyone that comes to Hockwold hall will truly feel welcome. We cannot thank the team at Hockwold enough, we know from the first moment that we had made the right decision. The staff made you feel at ease and it was clear that not only were they very experienced but that they cared a great deal about making sure you have the perfect day.

Having our wedding at Hockwold Hall was the best decision Me and My new wife have ever agreed on. Such an amazing Hall and Grounds tucked away from the rest of the world truly let us focus on our special day. Nothing was too much for Richard and his Team as we kept requesting more and more from them. Our wedding co-ordinator Anna was avalible and attentive the entire event and made sure it all ran smoothly. We packed the hall for the night and all the bedrooms and extra beds on the tours busses were much appreciated by the end of the day. Massive thank you to the entire team.

Hockwold hall was a truly magical experience. Our wedding was just so special, the location added so much to our day. The staff were superb, we didn’t need to worry about anything they had everything planned and checked in on us regularly but also left us to it. It was amazing to have the hall over night and use the facilities, including the bbq and hot tub.
We will be returning 🥰 thank you Richard and everyone else involved in the smooth running of our perfect day.

We got married at Hockwold Hall and can’t find a single thing to criticise. It is a gorgeous venue and offers so much - having all of the bedrooms in the house available to use made it so much easier for our guests that had to travel and for us to stay our wedding night. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything ran so smoothly so that our day was perfect. To top it off one of the staff allowed us to go into their meerkat enclosure and have some pictures on the day which made for some unique wedding pictures. I honestly could not recommend this venue enough. Even with delaying our wedding twice due to covid they made the process so easy and not stressful. Our family and friends have had nothing but great things to say about Hockwold and I’m so glad we chose it for our day. Thank you to Richard and the team for making it a truly special day we will never forget.

Our wedding day was made perfect by this gorgeous wedding venue in Norfolk! So reasonably priced, and you get so much for what you pay too! Exclusive use of a beautiful house that’s packed with character and amenities, amazing grounds with stunning peacocks, and a choice of breathtaking ceremony and reception rooms. Accommodation is included too, in characterful, spacious and well-appointed rooms. The bridal suite is romantic and classic, with a double width bath and twin sinks. The food was well organised, cooked and served, and went down a treat with all our guests. The wedding venue itself is set back from the road, down a picturesque driveway, so you won’t be disturbed by the neighbours. The owners did everything they could to make all our wishes come true, and I cannot thank them enough! This wasn’t just a wedding, this was a Hockwold Hall wedding!

We had our wedding on 31st October 2022 at Hockwold Hall. When we originally went to view the venue, Richard showed us round the grounds, house and marquee and we booked the same day! Right through the whole planning process, nothing was too much of an ask, responses were always quick and it took so much of the worry out of the wedding planning. On the day, everything went absolutely perfect. It was the the most special day, and I could not fault Hockwold one single bit. The coordinator was brilliant and ensured everything went smoothly. It all seemed effortless! We are both over the moon, and so pleased we chose Hockwold as our wedding venue.

We just celebrated our wedding here 13th-15th October and we had the most glorious stay. A beautiful setting for a wedding, and everything we ever dreamed our big day to be. The staff are wonderful, nothing was ever too much. The co-ordinator on the day was exceptional and so professional again nothing ever being too much when asked a question. The weather was a bit hit and miss the morning of our wedding but staff were on standby ready to set the chairs up for an outdoor ceremony and again re set indoors if the weather changed...luckily it didn't and we got our dream outdoor ceremony ❤️ the grounds are beautiful and the most perfect back drop for your wedding photos.
Communication the whole way through from booking the venue back in 2020 up until the day was brilliant and response time was so quick.
Our one month meeting again went smoothly and I was always kept up to date with invoices, catering, wine tasting and wedding fayres that we were invited to.
You will not be disappointed when booking your wedding here and I'm already planning a weekend stay to return to celebrate with friends and family for our 1 year anniversary.

WOW, Hockwold Hall and Gardens is truly stunning, after viewing 4 other venues we decided to book Hockwold Hall in the car on the way home after our first viewing. The Wedding fair was amazing and we booked most of our suppliers there. The thing we liked the most was how flexible they were and there were no hidden costs.

Since booking in 2019 the journey of planning our wedding was stress free. The Wedding Fayre was great and they were always available to help. When it came to the wedding day everything we had asked for was perfectly executed. The Gardens and Marquee were perfectly presented and the staff were all fantastic.

So perfect I want to do it all over again! Literally the best day of my life and wouldn't have been the same at a different venue. What makes a wedding run smoothly are the staff and I cannot thank the team at Hockwold enough. They are not only the loveliest people you will ever meet but they genuinely want you to have a great time and were available throughout to support. We genuinely booked straight after meeting the owner! We'd been to a few other places but after meeting him and touring the place, we just knew our day would be in safe hands and we were right! Cannot recommend this place enough!

I hired hockwold for my wedding, the views were amazing, the venue was well decorated, the people were very friendly and helpful if we needed any help. There's an area where you go in and cuddle the goat/sheep and bunnies and there's also 3 meerkats, very much enjoyed!!
My wedding day run so smoothly well organised and they were very attentive and couldn't asked for a better day. The rooms are excellent and very comfy.
Would highly recommend to anyone to hire this venue out.

From start to finish we had the most perfect day and that was thanks to hockwold and they're lovely team. They give you what no other venue can and that's a personal service. You really can create your dream day because they give you that freedom and they help you to make that dream a reality. Both Richard and his wife are brilliant, they couldn't do enough for us and were a complete asset to our day.
