Ceremonies and receptions can take place in the bright and airy Ballroom which has its own private entrance, foyer, bar, and cloakroom away from the main hotel, making your wedding exclusive to you and your guests. Hosting up to 120, this is a statement space with style in abundance.
As a licensed venue to host civil ceremony weddings since, 2022. The Garden Room is perfect for intimate weddings with its bright ambience and charming bay window, can host up to 60 guests. For a setting bathed in natural light, our Conservatory provides a picturesque backdrop ideal for wedding photography, accommodating up to 30 guests. The Gazebo offers an unforgettable outdoor ceremony spot with stunning views of the Surrey Downs and a capacity of 80 guests.
All of our wedding spaces are designed with classical and neutral décor, allowing you to personalise the environment to suit your style and theme. Each space acts as a blank canvas, ready to be transformed into your dream setting. Our hotel's garden offers idyllic views of the Surrey Downs, creating the perfect backdrop for both intimate photos of the bride and groom and full wedding party shots.

Our comprehensive wedding packages include a variety of bespoke features alongside an overnight stay in our Bridal Suite the night before, menu tasting prior to your wedding day and full support from our Events Teams in the run up are just a few of the possibilities. The wedding of our dreams!
Our wedding coordinator Emily was friendly, courteous and organised from the very start and was receptive to everything we suggested. Nothing was ever too much for her - and the same goes for the staff at the Hog's Back as a whole - and her communication in the two years leading up to the special day was fantastic.
We are Disney lovers and Emily ensured this shone through on the wedding day, helping to decorate the room and tables the day before and we were so impressed with how punctual the venue was with setting up and the process of the day itself.
Our guests spoke very highly of the venue, its staff and especially the food! If you are foodies like us, this is the wedding venue for you. The chefs are both incredibly talented and flexible, catering to a range of preferences and allergies. Our meal on the day was so good - we have even had guests tell us they are trying to recreate the French Onion Soup they had for their starter!
The hard work of everyone involved here was clear to see and in the likes of wedding coordinators Emily and Helen, you are in excellent hands!
The perfect day
We booked our wedding with six months between engagement and the big day and we were concerned that we would struggle to plan alongside our full time shift working jobs and daily life with the children, but we really need not have worried.
We seemingly looked at every hotel in Surrey and Hampshire, and The Hogs Back Hotel by far offered the best value for money and the most included in the package price. They make it so easy!
The service we received from all of the hotel staff, but particularly Emily has been nothing short of exceptional.
The venue is beautiful, clean and modern and perfectly complimented our very neutral colour scheme. Most of our guest stayed over the night and were given a discount code to use for a discounted stay. The following day we were given private use of the garden room for breakfast and we all enjoyed a swim together in the spa which made a whole weekend of it for us which was lovely.
The food was exceptional and all our guests commented the same, both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet.
From booking to wedding day we couldn’t have been looked after better by all of the staff and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Hogs Back Hotel more to any couple planning their wedding. We couldn’t be happier!
