My wife and I had our wedding at the hotel in the Regis suite. Our original venue had issues which meant cancelling 5 weeks before which was immensely stressful but the Alma Lodge were able to accommodate us at such short notice. The venue was amazing and the food was incredible. The hotel gave a complimentary room not only the night of, but also the night before, plus many of our guests were also able to stay. All of our guests complimented the venue itself, the food and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The bridal suite was perfect for the bride, and all the bridesmaids giving them somewhere secluded to prepare for the day. All the staff were incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding, the night prior when we were decorating and the day of the wedding and were there for everything we needed. They took care of everything throughout and were so kind in their comments to myself, my wife, family and guests. I would 100% recommend the Alma Lodge to anyone wanting to hold an event or staying there. Thank you so much to all the staff, you helped give us the wedding of our dreams 😊

Compliments to all staff, very professional, flexible and keen to details. Together they all did a great job especially room service team who set my room so well. Food was great in adequate amount. DJ was nice and played exactly what we wanted. All in all everything was great. Only thing I would fault is the bride welcoming song was so low in tone, I couldn't even hear it but that's a bit minor I guess. Otherwise they pleased my heart. Great value for money and great staff. Must say thank you to my two dedicated wedding coordinator/planner you was pitched perfect.

The best day of our lives! Our wedding was truly amazing and we couldnt be more happy and proud of the day we had. Events Executive Stacey Johnson is wonderful and she did everything to ensure that we had the perfect day, from booking, to planning, and to the big day itself! We used the medium size 'Cheltenham Suite', which was perfect for our wedding reception. All dietary requirements were catered for. The supplier they used for the DJ was fantastic!! Everyone had a great time and we are the happiest couple. Thank you Marriott Manchester Airport.

Well, where do I start? We booked our wedding in 2018 to get married in May 2020, obviously covid hit and the wedding was soon to be cancelled. I was contacted my Stephanie who was amazing and reassured me that they would be able to move the date to when suited us. We went for November the same year, thinking it was going to be possible, how wrong we were…I spoke with Stephanie again in the September and we moved the date to July 2021. Again, this was so easy and the reassurance from Stephanie meant everything. Keeping in contact with myself to make sure I was doing ok in such a stressful time. Unfortunately, we had to push it back yet another time but only a few weeks until August. Finally when it did happen, it was truly the best day of our lives (excluding when our daughter was born). The team on the day were amazing, so polite and couldn’t do enough for myself and the guests. Making sure we had everything we needed. The food was incredible! People are still talking about the food and saying how lovely it was - especially the soup. The bar staff were very efficient and there weren’t any long queues for the guests waiting to be served. Everything went perfect and we were not disappointed in the day. The DJ played everything we wanted playing and judged the event just perfectly. We cannot thank the team at The Village Hotel, Cheadle enough for their efforts on the wedding day and on the days leading up to it.

Whitworth Locke is now our go-to venue for just about anything and was a fantastic place to host our wedding. Its such a beautiful space that both of us instantly felt was the right place for us. The hotel is such an impressive and unique building but it still feels fun and relaxed. We loved the urban nearly industrial feel of the red brick and metal atrium paired with the fun colours and leafy vibe throughout - it's an instagrammers dream but somehow managed to avoid feeling pretentious or like it was trying too hard. The rooms are all very comfortable, well stocked and have the same cool vibes that the rest of the venue has. The staff were amazing, from Tom at the front desk to Denis the handyman. Vicky and then Hayley the Event Managers and Thomas the Deputy Hotel Manager were lovely people to work with and inspired a lot of confidence that our day would run well. Their organisation was perfect which is especially impressive given we were planning while navigating covid restrictions and the guidelines changing only 3 weeks before the wedding day! I work for the NHS so I was worried about the safety of my guests but every step was taken to ensure the event was as safe as possible and on the day no ask was too much for them. We don't live far away and will absolutely be taking every opportunity to return and keep in touch with this great team and wonderful venue.

Our venue went above and beyond for us on the day and before the day. Nothing was to much trouble for them!! Absolutely amazing food, fast service and phenomenal staff

Fabulous day. Staff were brilliant, especially Carlina, the coordinator. Food was wonderful and the whole day flowed smoothly and flawlessly. Couldn't recommend the place highly enough.

My wedding day was more than I could of dreamed of. The staff here are amazing, my wedding coordinators, Jordan, who organised everything for the day to utter perfection, is fantastic; and Joe, who I only met on the day, was fantastic: every need or want was met by him throughout the day evening. I feel blessed to have had these people make what can be a stressful time a perfect day. Also the food and service was beautiful too. I’d recommend to people to have there special day here.

I would absolutely highly recommend the Saddleworth Hotel to anybody who is looking at booking a wedding venue. In our opinion, this is without doubt, one of the best wedding venues in the country and the service is spectacular. All of our guests were blown away with the quality of the venue, how friendly the staff were and how amazing the food was! We decided to have the whole day at Saddleworth, including the ceremony which was absolutely perfect. The whole day ran so smoothly, we couldn't fault it at all! Thank you so much to the whole team at Saddleworth, you made our wedding day extremely special and memorable!

Would like to say big thank you also to the chefs for the food which was amazing we had many of our guest comment to us how nice it was both day time and evening food.
