Hotel Wedding Venues in Cheshire

We had our wedding in July 24 after booking the venue in the April. Kate was fantastic throughout, from initial viewings (I went twice each with a different bridesmaid) through to the morning after. She made sure the day was perfect and even better than what we could have imagined. We had a smaller wedding for during the day (45a 10c) (we didn't hold the ceremony at the venue as this had been booked elsewhere previously) and the room was set up for the breakfast perfectly for us, enclosing part of the room to allow a secondary entrance for us (and a place for the kids to let off some steam during the speeches with the adults needing to worry about them running off as they were still within the room), the room change over was managed perfectly so once we returned form our couples photos, taken on the grounds, the party was already underway. Kate was very communicative and tailored the package to suit our wants, even on the morning of the wedding when my husband decided to add elements to the package. The food was amazing. We opted for the melon, chicken dinner and cheesecake for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how nice the food was, the chicken was lovely and juicy and flavoured perfectly. We unfortunately missed the evening buffet but have been told how lovely this was too, we did have pizzas the night before and loved the selection available. We were also so fortunate to be one of the first wedding to utilise the 'Bridal Dressing Room' which was available for us from the evening before through to the morning after (I stayed the night before with both bridesmaids, their families and my MIL) meaning we could ensure all the dresses were wedding day ready with plenty of space for us all to get made up and our hair done and it also gave us newly weds a space to quickly freshen up once arriving back from the ceremony prior to checking into the complimentary bridal suite later in the evening. All the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially Kate, and we would say, hand on heart, our day could not have been in better hands and honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly or as well anywhere else.

We got married at The Alderley Edge Hotel on 4 May 2024. We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the whole team for making our whole day so special, and a big thank you to Lucy Wade for the planning and organisation; she made it so seamless and stress-free. The team kept us up to date with regular communication. I must have sent a million questions via email before the day and each email was responded to so quickly. The day ran very smoothly, the food was so delicious, every need was met and no ask was too much. A perfect day. I couldn’t have asked for more.

We were so glad we chose oddfellows as our venue for our wedding, it was the perfect mix of quirky, modern yet still felt like a romantic wedding venue. All the staff were friendly, atrentive and no request was ever too much. All our guests commented on how amazing the food, the staff and the venue were.if I could give them 10 stars I would. They made our special day even more special! Thanks oddfellows!

Having been devastated by Covid restrictions pushing back our original wedding date and then the first venue we had chosen sadly shutting down, a friend recommended that we look at The Royal Oak for our venue. She had attended another wedding there and told me how wonderful it was. The team at Royal Oak were absolutely incredible from the very first meeting! They helped us plan everything exactly how we wanted it and ensured the day ran to perfection. The way they set up the room for our wedding breakfast was absolutely stunning! The food was devine and the service they provided was spot on. We had a disco in the evening. It was a real party atmosphere with everyone dancing all night! So much fun! Our family & friends booked out all the rooms in the hotel, which was super convenient being right upstairs. The bedrooms were beautiful (& huge - allowing plenty of room for us ladies getting ready!!) And the beds were like sleeping on fluffy clouds!! We are so grateful to everybody at The Royal Oak for making our wedding so memorable. It truly was an incredible day. Karen & Lee

We feel extremely lucky to have been able to say ‘I Do’ this year and what a fabulous day it was. Our wedding at The Bridge was the most perfect day! Everything from staying the night before, to the morning after was just amazing. So much so we’d love to do it all again, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Both myself & my husband are big foodies, so making sure we had decent food, was a big must & oh my...it was just incredible! We celebrated with our closet family & friends, eating the most delicious food & drinking fabulous wine. We can’t thank Megan, Holly, Gareth & their team enough. Especially when we brought our wedding forward two weeks, with only 5 days notice due to the ever-changing rules and restrictions we’ve all had to live with this year. Every single person at our wedding felt the over whelming amount of friendliness that The Bridge staff offer, no ask, was too much trouble. The Bridge will now & always be a very special place to us & we can’t wait to be able to see everyone again soon. Love & Hugs Mr & Mrs Walsh. X

Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. All guests commented how friendly and helpful everyone was. Great day all round. Honestly couldn’t fault anything or asked for any more. We have been back a few times since for food and have received the same warm welcome and friendliness. I would highly recommend the vicarage. They gave us a perfect day that we will cherish forever. And they did all this at 6 weeks notice because our original venue cancelled because of Covid. Can’t rate it highly enough. Huge thanks to everyone at The Vicarage!

We had our wedding at Nunsmere yesterday and this place was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The planning (with Katie), the set up, the venue, the staff and the attention to detail makes this a dream place to hold your wedding reception! Thank you, and we will be definitely back for dinner, drinks and a stay in the future!

I will never be able to thank you enough for everything that you did for both Alex and I! We did see Dave before we left and explained to him how impressed we were! We've been to many 'hotel weddings' but couldn't believe how looked after our guests and ourselves were and how caring all of the staff around us were! Having you come up to the room to see me, with a bottle of prosecco too, really was such a thoughtful touch but I'll save all of this for our review! Also, the fireworks were such a magical moment and I can't thank you enough for going out of your way to make sure we could have these too!! We were and still are SO pleased with everything! xx

We had our Wedding Day at Willington Hall. The grounds are stunning and the weather was very kind to us so we were able to get married outside in the Temple. From initial booking right up to the day the communication was excellent. Not once did I worry that things wouldn't go to plan. The wedding breakfast was as expected just delicious. Our guests were amazed by the venue, the food and the staff. All of whom made our day very special but hands down Michelle was outstanding very knowledgeable of the grounds ensured everyone was having a great time right up until it was time for bed. We had all the rooms booked for the night by our guests all had a great night sleep. The breakfast in the morning was a great full English all of us were able to sit down and complete the celebration together.

When my daughter, and now son-in-law, chose the beautiful Rowton Hall for their wedding reception I knew it would be perfect the moment I saw it. But it was even better than that. We had exclusive use for our wedding party so the welcoming and relaxing bar, lovely conservatory, ballroom and beautifully country-garden styled outdoor area with wooden seating were ours without sharing, which I'd recommend, where (thanks to a warm Autumn day) we enjoyed Pimms and canapes with friends and family while the bride, groom and guests' formal photos and videos were taken. Next came the Reception and the room looked stunning. The food was delicious, piping hot, generous servings and generously served. They transformed the ballroom for the evening and it created an atmosphere which really got the party started. As for service: nothing was too much trouble, no detail was left unattended, every request met. We wanted to do the speeches before dessert - no problem. And what a star MC Keith is. As is Aaron James and all the staff, each one professional and friendly. I stayed in the Henrietta - a suite just above reception. It was beautifully designed and furnished with large sumptuous cushions, enormous elegant gilted mirror, mirror drawers, lovely large bathroom and adjoining lounge - first class. With 3 TVs. Rowton Hall is a shining example for other hotels. None of the chain hotels I've stayed at come close. Our guests loved it. Some guests rounded off the wedding weekend with a morning swim before a hearty English breakfast. After checking out, we were welcomed to stay and enjoy the hotel, no need to rush off. So we headed for the terrace to open cards and gifts while served coffee overlooking the beautiful gardens. Happily, we will be back. We've booked treatments in the spa.
