We had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding at Hotel Du Vin Poole and I have to say we couldn't have made a better decision. Right from our initial enquiry, through to the consultations and many emails, down to the fabulous day itself, I have to say that Sam (event manager) was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, and she really took the time to listen and help to create our perfect wedding celebration. The packages offer value for money that simply cannot be matched. Our guests experienced a stunning afternoon of toasts, wine and delicious food that we cannot fault. Every detail was perfect - the accommodation was luxurious and the surroundings, décor and ambiance are all extremely pleasing. I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Du Vin for its professionalism, quality of service and food/wine, value for money, attention to detail and flawless execution of the event. We held our wedding reception in the Hayloft at the Bull Hotel and had such a lovely time (despite the rain)! The team went out of their way to help us and ensure we were enjoying ourselves on the day. The food was great and the portions were very generous - we had so many comments from guests about how good it was. The pricing is incredibly fair considering how you much you get! We stayed overnight and our room was beautifully designed, taking into consideration the heritage of the building, and the roll top bath was an added bonus. The breakfast offering the next day was also delicious. We would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again! A special thank you to Kerry, Merlin and Sophie, and anyone else who helped out on the day :)

We have just had the most magical wedding at The Suncliff - what a gorgeous hotel! They have been amazing at coordinating our wedding and helping us with planning and organizing every step of the way. The package includes the 3-course meal, drinks reception and drinks during meal, ceremony room hire, disco, buffet, and a complimentary night stay in their amazing sea view suite, plus more! All the staff are friendly and attentive in helping to make the day flow smoothly and we couldn't be more impressed. All our family and friends adored the hotel, the rooms, the facilities, and the area - they were super impressed. Would hugely recommend The Suncliff Hotel if you're looking for a hotel wedding near the beach or in Dorset - it is perfect in every way.

We contacted champernhayes to host our guests for our River Cottage based wedding. They were helpful and thoughtful from day 1 The site is really beautiful and 10 minutes from the venue Everyone loved having their own property to relax and get ready in We had a family BBQ on the lawns over looking the valley It was perfect The location is handy for beach walks and lots of shops etc We will book to stay for our anniversary

From making our initial enquiry to the wedding breakfast the service and attention to detail was exemplary. All the staff attended to our every need but especially Tash, the events manager, who was exceptional. The hotel is absolutely fantastic in every way and we would highly recommend it especially with it being in the heart of Dorchester. Thanks so much for making our wedding celebrations perfect.

I cannot thank Lyndsey and Steve enough for facilitating our perfect wedding day in September! We had exclusive use of The Manor House for the weekend and everything was PERFECT! We had 120 guests in a marquee for our wedding reception and 170 total in the evening. The marquee attaches to the side of the venue so you have easy access between the two. Throughout the whole process nothing was too much trouble for the team. All our questions and pre meetings were facilitated perfectly. The food on the day... WOW, all our guests were so impressed with the canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food! The accommodation was also perfect for all our guests who were staying, yummy breakfasts on both mornings. The location, we were so lucky to have a beautiful sunny day, seeing the sea from our wedding breakfast and drinks reception was spectacular. If you want a quick bite, few nights accommodation or to plan your dream wedding I would 100% recommend The Manor House, Thank you Lyndsey and Steve for everything you did for us it was a very special day which we will cherish forever.

We found the Purbeck House on a bridal site when looking for venues. My husband and I love old, quaint little places with a lot of history, so we were keen to view this venue. As soon as we entered the grounds, we had a feeling it was going to be the one. The Purbeck Room is stunning and looks very much like a chapel. The woodwork is stunning, and the room is very bright. The Garden Conservatory overlooks the gardens and is an ideal size. We communicated with Emilie from start to finish, and she was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for more. I liked to be in control and know how everything was going to look, Emilie understood this and was always open and honest. She catered to our needs, was honest and helped in every way possible. On each occasion we visited the venue prior to the big day, we would bump into staff – from the manager to the breakfast staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and they have a wealth of knowledge about the history of the hotel. There wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do to make us feel welcome which added to the real homely feel that the Purbeck House has. The day before the wedding, Emilie and Alex helped to set up the rooms for us and get everything ready. The day of the wedding, Emilie was there early to help ease my nerves and help everything run smoothly, which it did. She dressed the part and was confident. The process of the day was explained prior, and she even ensured I stopped before walking down the aisle so she could adjust the train of my dress – it was little touches like this that made all the difference and helped everything to be so perfect for us. Alex ran the bar for the night, and I cannot thank him enough, he was so busy! It didn’t help that the card reader went down which was a tad frustrating for some guests, but I’m pretty sure they still almost drank the bar dry! Everyone commented on how affordable the bar was and how great the bar staff were. The rooms in the main hotel are lovely. As the bride, I stayed in the Superior Deluxe room which overlooked the grounds, it was beautiful and perfectly spacious for getting ready. The bed was comfy, and the room was clean. The rooms in the Louisa Lodge were also spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. There was no different in the standard of the rooms to those in the main house. The breakfast was good! Food was tasty, heated well, and there were cereal alternatives and juices readily available. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is fantastically cheap, with character, a comfortable stay for you and your guests, and staff who will do absolutely anything they can to ensure your special day is perfect, I would recommend Purbeck House Hotel. We look forward to bringing the children back once a year, maybe to stay or maybe just to visit the grounds as they grow up so we can reminisce about our perfect wedding day. The only feedback we did receive, was only that people wish they could have paid for a one-night stay, but we explained that Swanage is a holiday destination, which is why it's two-nights only. People understood so it wasn't a problem. To Emilie and the Team, thank you. We really cannot thank you enough, there are no words that will ever comprehend how grateful we are for everything you did for us over the two years of planning and on the day!

Got married at The ocean beach two weeks ago and it was the best day ever. The team were fantastic. All the way through the process. I felt like a princess!!! The room for ceremony and breakfast was truly stunning and so much natural light. Good value for money … highly recommend… x

Myself and Hannah would like to say a huge thank you to Tracey our wedding planner. Tracey did a fantastic job throughout the organisation and planning of our wedding, which on the day went off without a glitch. Not once did we need to worry about a thing allowing us to enjoy our day to the very best. Tracey was extremely attentive and ensured all our wants, needs and wishes were achieved on our special day. All of our guests spoke highly of the work she did and we all agree she is worth more than her weight in gold! As we live in Yorkshire we had to do a lot of organising via phone and email which Tracey kept on top of up to the last minute. We would highly recommend Tracey as a wedding planner and the Royal Bath for a wedding venue as the rooms available are outstanding. The staff on the day were amazing and it exceeded our expectation by a mile! Thank you to all that were involved in making our special day spectacular! We would love to do it all again!!
