From our first visit to the venue through to our post wedding check out, Virgin hotel provided exceptional service and a genuinely unique experience. Our wedding coordinator, Jo, made our wedding planning effortless. Our guests are still raving about the venue, food, wine and service a week after our wedding.

The staff of the Bruntsfield went above and beyond to make sure my sister’s special day was memorable , I was so happy to stay the night before in the hotel's bridal suite with her and her friends! the room is truly massive with a huge bathroom and a lounge area, perfect for makeup :) Would absolutely recommend

My wife and I are so glad we held our wedding at Doubletree Hilton Edinburgh Airport. We received a very professional service. Hats off to Nicole who was there to assist with all the planning work and for accommodating all of our special needs for the big day. The function room was perfect: everything clean and shiny dance floor. Food quality and service speed was top notch. We would definitely recommend this place as a wedding venue to other people.

Where to start! From Day One Bethany, our Wedding planner and co-ordinator and the team were first class. The team went that extra mile with everything. As we were planning a wedding from a distance this could have been really stressful but Bethany was super efficient and got back to us promptly with any queries and confirmed everything in emails and when we met up when in Edinburgh during our visits. She was also there all day and night on the wedding day making sure everything was exactly as discussed and ran smoothly. When we saw the venue for the first time it took our breath away and it was a no brainer that this is where we would get married. We were given a blank canvas so everything was tailored to exactly what we wanted which made it so personal and the team worked with us regarding everything and even made things happen which we thought wouldn't be possible! Most of our guests stayed in the hotel and were treated extremely well and the rooms were lovely with great facilities. All staff were friendly, accommodating and attentive and the whole experience was very positive. This is a top wedding destination and we couldn't recommend it more highly. Wonderful day. Staff wonderful. On the day they could not be faulted. Our day was smooth and extremely enjoyable as all the details ran to plan thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff. The waiting staff performed their duties in a very organized and efficient way and the food was perfect. Melon, beef then chocolate tart. Compliments to chef. 120 meals prepared and cooked precisely and presented in a timely fashion. We had the weather and spent the day outside and in the marquee. However the hotel itself is amazing and we chose it so we could enjoy an amazing venue in any weather. On the day performance excellent. Pre wedding preparation the week before was extremely helpful. The bedrooms we used were of a high standard. I want to go back and enjoy the hotel as a guest. Would love to relax and walk in the grounds. Enjoy the food. This is a very special place.

Dear Kieron, We really have to thank you, Claire and all your colleagues for making our wedding such a memorable event. You really did take care of everything, and we and all our guests were made to feel very well looked after. The ceremony went well and the dinner and drinks were really amazing it couldn't have been better. All the attention to detail and the excellent service made all the difference for such a special event. I couldn't praise Norton House highly enough. The whole day was fantastic and ran like clockwork. In the run up, every little query was dealt with efficiently. Norton house managed to accommodate all the requests of a neurotic bride, including setting up the room just the way I'd wanted it. The food was good and the waiting staff managed to ensure that no-ones wine glass was empty. Gorgeous setting with lovely grounds - perfect on a summers day for drinks in the gardens.

Fantastic venue, its kept the charm of old original buildings but with modern hotel facilities. Huge grounds with great photo locations.
