We couldn’t say enough nice things about your breath taking venue and your down to Earth supportive team, Our Wedding day was every bit the Secret garden Autumn vision we wanted we put so much time and effort into the individual details of our day and we really appreciated every bit of help your team offered in supporting making our vision come to life, we really felt supported and that made the day a breeze for us really flew by all the guests were really moved by the romance and closeness the Island creates and it felt so special and stunning on our own romantic island away from the world. I have to give a special thanks to gorgeous Charlotte she is so lovely down to earth and she really was a lifesaver providing us breakfast for our early start directing my bridesmaid army into the getting ready room she checked in on myself and my bridal party making sure we were okay it was really touching like having a 5th bridesmaid it really reassured me made me feel at home. Our guests praised food and we also loved the food it was worth every penny as a Family with Italian blood it was really Important to us that people felt the love and celebration through the food and it was sooo delicious those roast potatoes were sooo morish & devilishly crispy and creamy and luxurious dauphinoise we really couldn't get enough every belly was full and every plate was empty. I apologize I can't remember who originally suggested us did us the original quote for our wedding having our own cake as a desert for our guests really helped maybe Hailey or Pam but the customer service excellence shown using a soft sell empathetic human approach really sealed the deal for us and made our day possible so thank you so much for that invaluable suggestion we really did have a our dream day thank you to every member of your hard-working team that made it possible for us.

Our wedding was perfect in every way from start to finish. Everything was taken care of from start to finish even down to the flowers and buttonholes We held our ceremony in the Palm Court and what a stunning room with views over the sea The wedding breakfast and evening buffet was faultless everyone commented on how nice the food, wine, champagne was The day could not have been more perfect The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble, special thanks to the manager Andrew he was amazing through out. If your thinking of booking a wedding here I would highly recommend Well done to all at The Grand, you all work so hard and should be proud

We finally had our wedding at the beautiful Raven Hall Hotel, after being engaged for almost 19 years! The venue was an absolute no-brainer: we had moved to Scarborough a few years before from the Midlands, and realised how beautiful Raven Hall was from the first time we visited. With the amazing view of Robin Hood’s Bay, overlooked by the green rolling hills leading to the top of the cliffs, where the horizon greets the sun, we thought it was an idyllic venue to get married. Not to mention the grounds, where you can have so many different photo backgrounds and space for yourselves and guests to get some fresh air. The venue rooms themselves are full of character and beautiful decor that add to the mood. From meeting Gemma for the very first time, right through to the bookings with Amy, and then Ben managing the finalisations and the flow of the day, we were in the right hands. It was clear that the staff were very experienced, friendly and professional. They put us at ease and responded to any queries in a timely and informative manner. The staff on the day also made it very special for us, going out of there way to ensure everything was perfect, and even keeping all of our belongings together and safe for us to take home the following day. Just before I went to get married, I had some photographs taken on the stairwell with my father and of my dress. One of the cleaners was about to pass and when she looked up at me she had wore a huge smile and even shed a few tears of joy. This made me feel very beautiful and I just wanted to hug her. When we ordered drinks at the bar, the staff would have time to chat, everyone seemed really happy. It just gave the day an extra buzz. Everything was all ready and waiting at each part of the day, drinks and the meal were served very elegantly. The food was delicious, even though unfortunately I didn’t get to finish all of mine as my adrenalin was pumping through me and I felt the need to go around and speak with our guests. The food was divine and tasted as such, and we have also received many comments from our guests stating as such. The venue were also extremely helpful in allowing us to decorate the hall ourselves and also our supplier on the previous evening. As I am a control freak, this stabilised my nerves as I knew everything was in place ready for the big day. All of this along with competitive prices, great, large, clean rooms overlooking the sea was more than enough to say yes to. It was our dream day, and we can’t wait to go back for our anniversary! Thank you to everyone at Raven Hall. It meant so much to us. Xx

We booked the Crown for the venue of both our day and evening receptions.From the start we were very impressed with the service provided,especially the functions manager Helen who was always happy to help with anything at all,from major decisions to the small things that you want just right.The location is wonderful,right on the main cliff overlooking the south bay.The reception rooms themselves are decorated very well,and the room we stayed in on the night(free because we held both do's there)was fantastic.There's a huge choice of menu's and everyone commented on how good the food was,particularly the hot buffet in the evening,as this is an area many hotels lack in.The prices are very reasonable and there are lots of extras thrown in.We have no hesitations recommending the Crown for weddings or any other type of function/stay.
