From start to finish, the staff at the hotel especially Tawry-Kate were always at the end of the phone or by email with any questions, big or small. Everyone was amazing and made our wedding extra special. Being a disabled bride I was so nervous about falling up the aisle or whether I could do my first dance with my husband. But the venue made sure everywhere we needed to be was accessible. They were never far away and always there when we needed them. They made sure everything was so organised and looked after us so well. The atmosphere at the hotel and the smile we saw from the staff made us happy that we had made the right choice. We even go for our Valentine's evening and stay overnight. The hotel rooms are just so lovely and the staff go that extra step to make your day perfect. Thank you Tawry-Kate and staff. Xx

From the moment we booked the venue a year and a half in advance, Laura Swinnerton & the team were fantastic. Laura was always on hand to answer my questions - no matter how silly!, nothing was ever too much trouble for her and the Venue to sort. They allowed me to decorate the rooms myself to exactly how i wanted, but also did some beautiful final touches to take the stress off me. The food was amazing, honeymoon suit incredible and everyone is so polite and kind. Our wedding day ran perfectly from start to finish all thanks to Laura and the staff at Tern Hill Hall. If i had the choice again i would choose Tern Hill a 100 times over! Thank you for giving us a day we will always treasure xx

If you're looking for a venue that offers a bespoke, intimate wedding then this is the perfect location for your big day. For us the 2 most important factors in choosing our venue were intimacy (under 40 guests) and the quality of the food (The groom is a chef). When researching venues I found that many places felt like a wedding production line but this is not the case at ODL. The staff could not have been more welcoming or accommodating and made us feel completely at home. The 9 guest rooms are all beautiful and individually designed. The Bridal suite is gorgeous with a 4 poster bed and huge bathroom. The wedding breakfast was a 7 course menu designed by the head chef (Karl) and the groom, with home made pizzas for the evening (not forgetting the post wedding breakfast the next morning and the pre wedding breakfast provided for the bride and bridesmaid). We had a few guests with dietary requirements who all commented on how well the venue catered for their needs. The venue is beautiful inside and out giving lots of options for photographs whatever the weather, although the outside views are outstanding with beautiful countryside as far as you can see. There is nothing at all that we can fault about Old Downton Lodge, I cannot thank them enough for making our day perfect.

Our wedding was definately a day to remember at Lion Quays. With huge thanks to Robyn who was at the end of the phone constantly helping me and answering my questions I could not have done it without her. Adam as our Master of Ceremonies was also amazing and kept everything under control...including calming me down!!! All of the staff are polite, friendly and will do anything for you which is also a huge added factor to our special day. All of our guests travelled near and far to get here and their accommodation and treatment was perfect! The venue is absolutely stunning and perfect for any wedding with so much space, private garden areas and of course a visit from Eugiene the peacock who also made it onto our wedding photo's. We cannot recommend Lion Quays enough....if you want to get married do it here! 11 months ago was our wedding and I cannot wait to re-visit Lion Quays to remember such special memories & a perfect day. Had my wedding reception and also my sister got married there. Lovely location excellent service nothing to much trouble. Highly recommended

On the 11th March my Daughter got married at Haughton Hall. I would like to commend all the staff for the exemplary manner in which the whole event was presented and managed. The wedding manager was excellent from the outset, and on the day the managment of the event was outstanding. The whole day was truly memorable for all concerned.

We have booked to have our reception here in July 2004. I know alot of people who have had weddings here and all are very good reviews. The venue is absolutely stunning - they have a lake and excellent grounds for photos. The interior is great because they've just had a refurbishment. The staff are very good too - very attentive.

I have just booked my wedding at Hadley Park and haved been very impressed so far. It is a lovely old victorian house with its own driveway and a large modern conservatory where the ceremony takes place. The house is ours alone for the day with no other guests allowed, this means we have access to the whole of the hotel ourselves, and the little sitting room will be handy for the older guests to have a bit of peace and quiet. The wedding package itself is good with good menu, drinks and buffet packages and is inclusive of linen, place cards and bride and groom b&b. I have been very impressed with what I have seen so far, but by far what decided this venue for me was the privacy.

I have not been to a wedding here but have dined here at Christmas etc. We were a large group dining, but the service was great, the food was nice and the staff very friendly. If i lived in Ironbridge this would certianly be a possible venue option for me
