We got married at Cubley Hall in October 2024. Everything from booking to arranging to the day was amazing. Sandra ensured everything ran smoothly and was very accommodating to our food and entertainment requests. Our guests absolutely loved it and it wouldn’t have been possible without the team from Cubley. The venue looked absolutely incredible. We can’t recommend this venue enough. Food is also delicious! Thank you for making our day so special. The en suite accommodation was clean and comfortable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to get married and celebrate, Finlay was so helpful, and advised throughout. Finlay was always on hand by email or a call to discuss things. On the day, Kevin looked after us. We got married at 5pm, so went straight into our night do. There was another wedding on at the hotel, but that didn’t impact the service or quality. All the staff went above and beyond, even escorting the bridal party across the carpark to the venue. Nothing was too much trouble. The DJ was fab, although we had hired our own band, he was obliging with guests requests. Catering and bar staff were smart, polite and hardworking. A fantastic day, which came together brilliantly. Thank you!

Would highly recommend. Everyone was perfect. Everything was perfect. We got married here 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond, nothing was to much trouble. They literally couldn’t do enough for us. It is an absolutely stunning venue, big and spacious. THANKYOU

Me and my husband got married here 2nd June and we would like to thank you and your staff for all the wonderful work you did to make the day absolutely perfect for us all. Apart from laying on the perfect weather, we found from the moment we arrived that you were on hand to help and guide us through the day. The arrangements for the ceremony, the drinks, the meal, and the evening went without a hitch. The food was delicious and the service throughout impeccable. At the end of the evening you we stayed in the Thermae Suite which was absolutely beautiful and took our breath away for sure!! We had room service and breakfast the next day and was delicious. You were still there to arrange taxis ago next day. There are always stresses and strains before these occasions but all our fears were gone and we are all looking back on the most perfect day. Please do give our sincere thanks to all involved in such a splendid result!

The were very helpful from day 1, when we were only enquiring, once we decided to go ahead to have the wedding there, they couldn't be more attentive, made sure we had everything, even recommend various companies from cakes to flowers. Whilst booking the rooms, they showed us which function rooms were available, even shown us the hotel rooms, so we know the appropriate rooms for our guests. On the day of the wedding, everything went according to plan, our wedding planner Kate Sullivan had done more than expected. The manager Mark Ilsley was the same, made sure everything went accordingly. By the morning, everybody from the hotel congratulated us, including the housekeepers. We couldn't have asked for a better and memorable wedding day.

The Maynard is not only is a fantastic place, set in a beautiful location - the people that work there mirror it. Amazing service, amazing food, attentiveness, drive to make everything perfect. I highly recommend the Maynard for your wedding. Soraya and team are second to none. Thank you for pulling together such a perfect day.

Newlyweds (me and my husband) we would just like to both thank all the hotel staff for making our wedding say truely special we couldn't have asked for anything more, right from staying the night before to breakfast the day after our wedding we couldn't fault a single thing! Megan has been an absolute diamond from the start of planning our wedding and Charlotte did an absolutely fantastic job in ensuring we had the best wedding day ever! All our friends and family commented on it being lovely! Hats off to the chef for the lovely food, no one at all had any fault! The staff have all been very friendly and welcoming and we were all looked after great!! The hotel staff have kept in contact with me from day 1 of looking around for a wedding venue right till after our honeymoon, emailing us to see if we enjoyed our wedding day! Everything was absolutely perfect and left us wanting for nothing I would recommend this hotel to anyone whether it be a spa day, weekend away, overnight stay, meal out and would certainly recommend this as a wedding venue!! Thankyou all again so much for making our day extra special! And thankyou for The personalised touch in our bridal suite, the bubbly, chocolate and cake was a lovely touch!! We will deffo be visiting again for meals, spa etc. A beautiful hotel with very lovely staff! If we could give 10 stars + we would! Ps thankyou for catering for dietarys so close to the wedding day. I got married here and the service during the reception was first class.friendly and efficient nothing was too much trouble for the manager or coordinator and I would recommend to others. I will definitely be returning.

We had our wedding reception at Halifax hall after getting married at a local church. We were a little hesitant to book the hotel as there aren’t many reviews but after meeting Amy and Francesca and all the staff at the hotel we knew it would be the right choice. We booked all the rooms so that our guests could stay for the weekend and it meant we had full use of all the rooms. Both Amy and a Francesca were really approachable and easy to get hold of. We live in Hertfordshire so it meant we didn’t get to have many wedding meetings but we did this over the phone and by email instead. The food was delicious and all our guests complimented the food and friendliness of the staff. The rooms are comfortable, a little small but very clean and high spec. We opted for canapés and welcome drinks in the music room which looks out onto the lawn, then wedding breakfast in the Ennis room, we had a band next door in the library and then the dance floor back in the Ennis room. This made everything flow really well. The only addition we would have would be one more bartender! A great little find in a lovely leafy part of Sheffield with excellent customer service! I got married at the Crown Hotel in October 2017 and literally start to finish was spectacular. The wedding team were completely on the ball and nothing was too much. The hotel is a lovely location and the quaint garden made it really private and magical. Price wise it was extremity competitive and came in considerably cheaper than other venues in the area. Food was delicious and you can clearly tell the chefs are experienced in catering for large numbers. 100% recommend a visit!
