We had our wedding in July 24 after booking the venue in the April. Kate was fantastic throughout, from initial viewings (I went twice each with a different bridesmaid) through to the morning after. She made sure the day was perfect and even better than what we could have imagined. We had a smaller wedding for during the day (45a 10c) (we didn't hold the ceremony at the venue as this had been booked elsewhere previously) and the room was set up for the breakfast perfectly for us, enclosing part of the room to allow a secondary entrance for us (and a place for the kids to let off some steam during the speeches with the adults needing to worry about them running off as they were still within the room), the room change over was managed perfectly so once we returned form our couples photos, taken on the grounds, the party was already underway. Kate was very communicative and tailored the package to suit our wants, even on the morning of the wedding when my husband decided to add elements to the package. The food was amazing. We opted for the melon, chicken dinner and cheesecake for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how nice the food was, the chicken was lovely and juicy and flavoured perfectly. We unfortunately missed the evening buffet but have been told how lovely this was too, we did have pizzas the night before and loved the selection available. We were also so fortunate to be one of the first wedding to utilise the 'Bridal Dressing Room' which was available for us from the evening before through to the morning after (I stayed the night before with both bridesmaids, their families and my MIL) meaning we could ensure all the dresses were wedding day ready with plenty of space for us all to get made up and our hair done and it also gave us newly weds a space to quickly freshen up once arriving back from the ceremony prior to checking into the complimentary bridal suite later in the evening. All the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially Kate, and we would say, hand on heart, our day could not have been in better hands and honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly or as well anywhere else.

We got married at The Alderley Edge Hotel on 4 May 2024. We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the whole team for making our whole day so special, and a big thank you to Lucy Wade for the planning and organisation; she made it so seamless and stress-free. The team kept us up to date with regular communication. I must have sent a million questions via email before the day and each email was responded to so quickly. The day ran very smoothly, the food was so delicious, every need was met and no ask was too much. A perfect day. I couldn’t have asked for more.

What a wedding day we had and a large reason for our day being so special is down to the dedication and hard work of the staff at the Pinewood on Wilmslow. When my husband and I chose the Pinewood for our wedding it was because we felt the hotel had a family feel and that they were a hotel who understood their guests needs and did their utmost to ensure they enjoyed their stay at the hotel. Special thanks to John Scott, the general manager, all the waiting on staff including Lucy, Kirsty and the blonde lady who was setting up our tables on the Friday evening, sorry we didn't catch your name but you had wonderful patience as a pair of flustered newlyweds to be were were flapping around you as you were busy working! Also Gio who was the first person we met over a year ago when we viewed the hotel and was on hand to deal effortlessly with any eventuality which arose on the day and did a fantastic job! Last but not least the chef and kitchen staff who created a gorgeous menu which everyone enjoyed, although I was very jealous of the enormous banana splits the children were given! We would recommend the Pinewood on Wilmslow for any event especially weddings, they know what they are doing and they do it well!

I had my wedding reception at the Stanneylands in Feb 05. The one thing that attracted me to this hotel was the size and individuality of the place, it is full of character and has lovely surroundings for your pics. The staff were so helpful in really letting you do anything you wanted as it is your day. Eamon the hotel manager was there from start to finish and sat in on all our meetings. He left at 1.30am when the disco finished and kept things in running order, he even joined in a few dances. There is a great choice of menus,we had the Grand Carved buffet which everyone enjoyed so much that some of our guests have booked to go and eat there. You can have a Toastmaster included the hire of the , Steve, who was the most funniest guy andand treated the top table like royalty. Definately recommend the Stanneylands to anyone.
