Facilities and Capacity
Howfield caters to weddings with up to 80 seated guests and 150 for an evening reception. The team prides themselves on their flexible approach to wedding planning and provides a relaxed and informal environment where couples can create a bespoke celebration. There are both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options available. Couples can exchange vows on the outdoor patio or in the dedicated ceremony room, both of which overlook the gardens to provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Clients can host their reception in the purpose-built marquee, which opens onto the picturesque grounds and is elegantly decorated with white linen, round banquet tables, and warm uplighting.

The experienced wedding team at Howfield offers a range of packages that can be tailored to each couple's needs. A dedicated wedding planner will ensure that the wedding runs smoothly and will cater to the client's every need. Accommodation is available onsite, and the venue offers special rates for wedding parties. The 16 cosy bedrooms in the manor hotel are luxuriously decorated and provide a welcome retreat for guests after the party. Catering is also available in-house from a team of culinary experts who will prepare a menu to the exact specifications of each couple. Howfield can also supply a professional DJ and a Master of Ceremonies if couples wish.

We knew we had found our dream wedding venue. They were professional from the start right up to our big day. We feel they became friends and truly part of our wedding day.
We have visited many times before our big day and will continue to visit since we have been married. It’s a very special place.
A Perfectly Personalised 5-Star Wedding Experience
As a couple from two different cultures, we were thrilled with how they incorporated key elements from both sides. Being of Filipino descent, it was important for us to have Lechon, a celebratory staple. The wedding planner went above and beyond, arranging a meeting with the chef to ensure everything was perfect. They didn't stop there; my British husband's tradition of having a hog roast was also honored. The chef brilliantly served both Lechon with rice and salads, and hog roast in baps with apple sauce.
We had many custom elements for our wedding, and the team at Howfield Manor Hotel was incredibly accommodating. They opened their hotel to us multiple times to ensure our measurements were correct, especially for my dad, who crafted a free-standing shelf to use as our seating plan. Their flexibility and support made everything seamless.
Howfield Manor Hotel truly made us feel like we gained a family during our year-long planning process. We are already looking forward to visiting them again and celebrating many more of our anniversaries at this wonderful venue.

Outstanding service
With plenty of rooms it’s the ideal space to get bridal preparations done and for guests to stay.
The outside area to get married in is beautiful with such a lovely isle you really get to make the perfect entrance however the back up room for bad weather is just as beautiful!
The marque for the reception is lovely and spacious. We opted for the bbq and it was Devine.
The time really go above and beyond and make you feel so special on your day.
I couldn’t recommend Howfield enough , no regrets what so ever our day was more then perfect with them
