With its parkland approach and sweeping drive, the Georgian mansion and ornate rooms set the scene as a first-class venue for a civil ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. You can host a memorable outdoor ceremony in the landscaped gardens with lush greenery and blossoming flowers as your backdrop. After, enjoy a cocktail on the terrace while your photographer takes those coveted group photographs on the ornate outdoor stairs. 23rd April 2022- best day of our lives
We had an issue with our first venue and with only 6 months to go we had to change. All I can say is I’m so glad we did. Danielle, our wedding coordinator, was outstanding. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed from the get go. Nothing was an issue and the day couldn’t have gone any better. Danielle told us on the night of the wedding we were her first wedding. We would never have thought that with how professional and brilliant she was throughout the whole process of planning to the end. Thank you so much for making our day as amazing as it could’ve been.

They showed us, how they decorated and set up the room for our special day. I fell in love with it straight away and started to get excited for the following day.
Danille and Martha had action plans in place, that put us at ease. We had hog roast and pizza van for our menu. This was cooked outside, but served inside to keep our guest warm and clothes wet free.
The bar staff were absolutely amazing!! We had a range of age groups, (22-70)who all got involved with downing shots.
Our daughter only 7yrs wanted to feel a part of the day with white wine ( this is my favourite).
Danille and Martha ordered in specially for Ella, non alcoholic wine. She was buzzing.
I have to say a Massive thank you to the team for making our day so special. We only had a 6 month wait to plan it all, and it was PERFECT.
I would recommend Kingston maurward to all my friends, family and colleagues.

The most perfect venue.
From the minute we met Danielle our coordinator, we felt totally at ease with the planning of our special day, that everything was taken care of and in hand, and it all was.
I was a little bit of a bridezilla if I'm honest, in the sense I was in control of everything down to the finest details, and I would panic over the smallest things, so thinking that on the actual day everything would be controlled by people other than me terrified me 😂 but it went off with a bang, our totally perfect perfect day, even with guests, staff and bride melting in the days' heat. Everything was organised and sorted behind the scenes and they set the venue up like a fairytale, I couldn't have wished for things to be better.
Danielle and Kingston Maurward gave us complete freedom of the venue, decorating it with our personalities, however we pleased. The menu and food were beautiful and I received compliments upon compliments for the days' food. Very skilled chefs and such polite waiting staff.
For the amount that you get with this venue. the gardens, the lake, the house, grounds, in house catering and floristry, and the staff that are there for your every need from start to 'I do's, the price was a steal. I could never have picked anywhere else, it was AMAZING.
