Facilities and Capacity

Lancaster Town Hall is a flexible event venue suitable for intimate gatherings, lavish dos, or something. On the first floor, you will find several function rooms which can be rented together or independently. The Council Chamber comfortably seats 45 people, making a gorgeous backdrop for an intimate ceremony. If your event is on a grander scale, Ashton Hall may be the space for you. Lit by chandeliers and housing a grand organ, this function room can accommodate up to 250 seated guests and 500 for the evening do.

The Events team will be happy to help if you need guidance on setting up the venue for your wedding. Their experience and attention to detail will ensure everything runs smoothly and according to plan. In-house catering is available with buffet and seated meal facilities. You may also use a private caterer of your choice if you prefer. The venue offers plenty of space for your evening entertainment, including a dance floor and live band facilities.
