My partner and I got married at Dartmoor Zoo in July 2024. We had a fairly intimate wedding with 28 people, so used the ceremony room in Goodamoor House and the Jaguar Suite for our reception. From our first visit and throughout the entire planning process, Jade and Alyn were incredibly responsive and helpful. They answered every question we had and went above and beyond to help us plan out every detail of the day, and Alyn was there to help us set up the day before. They also packed up all our decor for us to pick up the next day, so we didn't have to worry about that during the wedding or enlist any of our guests to help out with packing up. The wedding day itself was magical - there were so many lovely outdoor photo ops, we had a great time meeting Dragan the tiger, and our guests loved being about to walk around and see the animals during ‘down time’ between photos and food. The wedding breakfast was absolutely delish (with the menu customized exactly how we wanted it). Plus, we loved that the money we spent on the wedding went straight into helping the animals. It couldn’t have been more perfect!

Ah what can I say.... how to sum up our wedding weekend in a few words! It was just perfect! We can’t thank you enough for the hard work, patience and kindness you showed us throughout the whole process and over the weekend. You are all so lovely, approachable and nothing was too much trouble! Every single guest was amazed at the venue, how beautiful and well-kept it was. The ceremony was stunning and the grounds meant we hardly needed to do anything to bring out the estate’s beauty. We are still beaming from ear to ear! Howard and Ed were fantastic throughout the whole weekend and the run up to it, so please thank them for us. You are such a wonderful family and we will be eternally grateful to you for making our wedding one that we will remember forever.

We had the most fantastic day, everything went brilliantly. In the run up to our wedding we can honestly say that Abbie was fantastic, always on the end of the phone or an email answering all questions and giving great advice. Thank you letter to Lakeside: Very much thanks for making our daughter''s wedding day such a memorable occasion - everything was perfect. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff especially the kitchen staff, for producing such a delicious meal. Everyone enjoyed the day - particularly the bride and groom!
