Landmark Wedding Venues in East London

Everything was perfect: The views. The hotel. The suite we stayed in. The staff who knew exactly who we were even out of our wedding attire! I couldn’t praise the Shangri-La enough. Best of all was our events planner Marta who was so responsiveness and friendly. The package was perfect for an intimate wedding and value for money was wonderful. We will definitely be back for another event.

We had such an amazing day for our August wedding at the Lea Rowing Club. We had a hybrid Hindu/Christian wedding where we needed to cater for different diets, a hybrid ceremony and our own vision on decor. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to do their own thing. The club met our every need and supported us seamlessly. We felt very lucky when we found this venue as it is tricky to find a bright and airy hall with AC that can also shift gears for the evening when you want to dim the lighting and adjourn to the cosy bar attached. The balcony with a view of the narrow boats was a lovely bonus. So many of our guests said it was such a great day and I'm sure the venue was a big part of that.

Just wanted to drop you an email and say a HUGE thank you for helping us have the most amazing wedding day. We loved every minute. The food was fab and the venue was beautiful. Everyone was raving about it and said how great it all was. James was so impressed how cold every beer was!! Thank you for all your hard work and i will definitely be recommending OXO2 to everyone.

Dear Team, I wanted to let you know how well we thought everything went on Saturday. I know we (and especially Romy) were quite demanding (or, as Romy put it in her speech, “particular”), but I hope you’ll agree that the overall result was spectacular: everything went like clockwork, the food received universal praise, the staff went about their work efficiently (and looked good too!) and many of the guests have commented that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. So thank you for all your efforts in preparing for the day and at the event itself. I hope you, like us, thought the end result was worth the effort. Thank you for all your help, advice and on-the-day support, it really made our wedding very special and it certianly went off without a hitch! The Museum looked amazing and the garden was perfect, especially as the sunshine adn the guests wanted to make the most of the beautiful surroundings.
