Steeped in history and set amidst spectacular wooded countryside, Launcells Barton is a family-owned exclusive use wedding venue in Launcells, a small parish situated near Bude in North Cornwall. Along with boutique accommodation in our historic country manor house, we provide the perfect setting for both your wedding ceremony and reception, with the capacity to seat up to 200 guests. From the minute you arrive to the moment you leave, you’ll be made to feel like part of the family.

2 Night Exclusive Hire

We offer 2 night weddings from March through to October and whether you choose to get married midweek or at a weekend, the Launcells Barton experience always includes exclusive use of the entire venue and grounds for two nights.

We give you plenty of time to set-up the day before, leaving you free to spend the morning of your wedding day getting ready with friends and family. As the day progresses, you’ll have nothing to worry about beyond having a good time. We’ll take care of everything else. The following morning, you’ll also be able to enjoy breakfast with your guests before you depart for home or your honeymoon.

You can choose to exchange vows in the historic Mill Barn or beneath a custom-built arbour within the beautiful walled garden. For your reception, the purpose-built Reception Barn can accommodate up to 200 seated guests.

We’re delighted to work with Fig and Smoke, who create delicious, seasonal menus with locally sourced ingredients. Whether you’re after relaxed sharing boards, an elegant plated meal, or something totally unique, their chefs will bring your foodie ideas to life with ease.

To kick off your wedding celebrations, Fig and Smoke also offer Friday Night Feasts. Gather with loved ones for a Seaview BBQ with stunning farm views, or enjoy a hearty Curry Night or Chilli Feast – perfect for a relaxed evening before the big day! And to make your wedding morning even more special, you can add a Bridal Brunch delivered straight to your manor house door on Saturday – the perfect way to start your big day in style.
