Leez Priory was the most amazing venue, right from the very first visit! They cater to all your needs and make the whole day an absolute breeze! They do everything for you from decorations, food, accomodation and help with lots of the planning, which makes the whole process very simple and stress free. The grounds are absolutely stunning, a real wow for guests and the pictures for sure! We had the best day here and it really was the most amazing place. With stunning green lawns, resident Geese, dreamy rose gardens and hidden cottages, it really was like a fairytale!

We got married here at the end of September and the experience from start to finish was seamless and so easy to follow. Gemma made choosing Leez Priory for our wedding day the easiest decision by helping us see everything we could have and Leanne brought our vision to life on the lead up and the day as our Wedding Coordinator. Leanne was literally a WhatsApp message away throughout the planning. The venue itself is stunning and looks just like a castle with all it original features. The food was exceptional and you get a large portion keeping everyone well fed throughout the day! Cannot fault the staff and venue team they were incredible and just blended in. Thank you and we will be back for many events to come.

We got married here at the end of May. It was honestly the most wonderful day ever, the venue, grounds and house were all exceptional. Beautifully presented, welcoming, clean and tidy, great food, fabulous DJ, with lovely staff who went above and beyond to make our day the best ever.

I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, as it honestly was the best day of our lives.

We knew we’d found our venue when we pulled into the grounds & my nephew shouted ‘let’s look for the king & queen’. The grounds are beautiful & one of the main reasons we chose Leez Priory.

Unfortunately, it rained consistently on our wedding day but the beauty of Leez Priory is that you have a choice of wet weather options & our choice was the The Tower, which was absolutely beautiful & very intimidate for our small wedding.

The food throughout the day was amazing & the choice of cocktails during the drinks reception went down a storm with our guests.

Rachel was our wedding co-ordinator & was brilliant throughout the day, especially when having to change to our wet weather option last minute which meant having to change our ceremony seating plan. Rachel did all the little finishing touches for us which was very much appreciated. Thank you.

The DJ was amazing, I called him beforehand to ask if I could put together a play list & he was absolutely fine with that, the guests were up dancing all evening.

Despite the rain, which can’t be controlled, we had the best wedding day at Leez & all of our guests have all said what a brilliant day it was. Thank you.

We knew that for our wedding we wanted to add a bit of magic, and a flair of the grand. Leez Priory was a complete dream come true for us as a couple. Every single detail was everything that we wanted it to be.

You'll notice quickly how beautiful the building and the grounds are, and once you step inside you're transported even more into a beautiful setting that feels both regal and cosy. The perfect blend of worlds. The forecourt and central areas also provide the ideal blend for outside and inside weddings.

We were also keen to make sure that guests didn't feel like they were stuck in one space for the entire day - but thanks to there being multiple spaces within the venue we were able to spread between different rooms and areas and kept our guests exploring and revealing new locations as the day progressed.

The food was delicious at all points of the day - and we were also able to design and brand our own cocktails on the day too with a personal touch. A lot of guests commented on how it was some of the best wedding food they have ever tasted - perfect!

A huge benefit of Leez is the ability to have approx 50 guests stay on site too across the rooms in the stables and house meaning that those nearest and dearest and keep drinking and chatting into the early hours which was a lovely touch. We knew we wanted to ensure a lot of our guests didn't have the worries of taxis (though very easy to get them nearby) and also be able to catch up the next morning.

We also took advantage of the brilliant inclusive DJ who was fabulous and tailored his set to all the songs we love - and finished the day too with the most glorious fireworks display which we'd highly recommend.

I can't thank Leez Priory enough. My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding on the 5th February 2024. The venue inside and out is stunning. The grounds are amazing. When we went to visit and have a tour, I already knew that this would be great for us. The accommodation and food was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our wedding planner, Olivia, was and absolute star. She helped us through the planning and on the big day itself. The staff took the time to help my parents around the grounds. Many of the guests said it was one of the best weddings they had been to and enjoyed the food, drink, DJ and accommodations. It was a small intimate size, but even so, it was a great party and celebration for us. A huge thank you to Leez Priory for helping my husband and I have our perfect wedding. Thank you to all the staff!! You all do an amazing job at Leez Priory. We will be coming back for dinner dates, anniversaries and family events!

Leez Priory is a beautifully kept venue in the Essex countryside. They take care of everything from start to finish and that meant we could enjoy our day without worry. Food was excellent.

We had the most amazing most beautiful outdoor summer wedding. It was a windy day, plus days leading up to the wedding we had non stop rain, but on the day everything just turned out to be perfect.

They were trying to convince my wife to have an indoor wedding which was understandable considering how windy it was and previous bouts of rain.

Our coordinator Olivia came up with the most amazing plan so we could still have our dream wedding and literally that's how it turned out. We still had it outside but facing a different way and although we didn't get married underneath the tower because the wind was way heavier over that side.

We got married in the carriageway and it was just as beautiful with our guests seated out on the beautiful lawn facing us.

My wife and I put as much money in as we could and including a great photographer Neil Bailey, entertainment, (we had a band and a Quartet) hair makeup and other bits and pieces we spent £40,000 which we literally only just worked out.

We did rent 25 rooms on site which was £3,500 which we paid for but you can always charge your guests for the rooms having all your most important friends and family members stay the night and have breakfast with you in the morning makes the whole experience even more special.

We had friends and family texting and calling us all week saying how they wish they could go back and do it all over again and we feel the same.

If I can afford it I'm going to surprise my wife by having our first year anniversary at Leez Priory

Many guests commented it was the best venue they had ever been too . i would recommend Leez Priory as it was faultless . The food was delicious and we had the wedding of our dreams . Leez priory take all the stress out of the day so you can enjoy it to the maximum.

An amazing venue, full of history.! Stayed at the fisherman's cottage ,the night before our big day. From the moment I arrived, a calmness swept over me, knowing that every little detail was being taken care of by Sophie our wedding planner . Guest accommodation, venue staff ,food, DJ, we're all amazing, and the day went so smoothly, all of our guest comments afterwards , were good and even now after 3 months ,still being spoken about. The day really was magical for us both, and our only wish is ,to be able to do it all over again.

We’ve recently booked our 2024 Wedding with Leez Priory and we would highly recommend!! We saw the venue here on hitched and had recommendations from family friends who said they have attended beautiful weddings here so we knew it was going to be amazing! We called and spoke with Gemma on the phone and we knew we would be in safe hands just from one phone call. Gemma was so professional, friendly and attentive, covering all areas and was so congratulatory! Even after the phone call up to the viewing we were in contact. We were sent an email invite with guidance on how to find Leez Priory. We received a separate email including background on the venue, a brochure including prices and the food choices. We also received a courtesy call to confirm the viewing on the day we visited. We hadn’t even visited the venue yet and we already knew that our wedding would be so looked after at Leez Priory!

We met with Gemma to view Leez Priory and as soon as we pulled up we were in love with the stunning venue. Gemma warmly greeted us and made us feel so welcome. Gemma is excellent at her job and explained every detail of the day to us and was more than happy to answer any questions we had (not that we had many in the end as everything was so well covered!) once we had seen everything we sat with Gemma and were talked through pricing and whats included in the package we were looking at. We were also given a list of optional extras to view and menu choices too so we really got to see everything before we said yes. Through out the whole process it was made so easy and we were so reassured knowing that everything is so well thought of. The attention to detail is wonderful and made saying yes very easy! We are so happy to have booked our wedding with Leez Priory and we cannot wait to get married there in 2024!

We booked a last minute wedding with Gemma who made the process really easy and we were immediately given a personal wedding manager who was great at giving us advice and helping us with our day. Sophie was amazing on the day of the wedding and helped with setting up our favours, cake, video camera, guestbook, dance floor bits and couldn’t do any more to help us. We had such an amazing day, it is the perfect venue and the food was great. I would 100% recommend this venue to future brides and grooms!
P.S. Stay in the cottage the night before. The hot tub is amazing!

Leez Priory is a beautiful place from every angle. The surrounding grounds gave my wedding the perfect autumn back drop and the open fireplaces make it really something special. The staff there were very accomodating and our wedding planner Olivia went above and beyond to make our day special. Absolutely would recommend.
