Wow what a place! They made a potentially unsettled time run so smoothly. Tabitha was amazing, with regular meetings and was so helpful and accommodating maling pur vision become reality, such as having an outside ceremony. The day went so smoothly, no issues whatsoever and the staff were incredibly helpful. I cannot find any fault and will definitely be recommending. Thanks so much for making our day amazing

In July 2023 I attended a wedding as a guest of the groom who who is severely disabled and confined to a motorised wheelchair. Obviously the disability dimension bought with it potential, access, movement between rooms, and all sorts of other potential factors any one of which, if not properly planned for and accomodated had the potential to spoil or even ruin the day.
The wedding planner, Tabatha and ALL of the other staff worked tirelessly throughout the day and into the evening to ensure all went exceptionally well for the bride and groom and all of the guests.
A VERY memorable and enjoyable day, and evening was spent by all.
Given the exceptional disability dimensions all the potential problem areas were seamlessly overcome. Well done all at Leigh Park for making the day such a happy occasion.

Me and my husband got married here on the 13th September and well there was a lot of issues
Function rooms had the tables for the wedding breakfast set up ready for us to decorate which was perfect but then we noticed the floors were filthy old confetti all over and dirty rings where glasses were placed on the window sills and not cleaned. There was also food and dead flies in all of the windows. Hand prints on the mirrors and windows.
We had spoken to one of the staff at the hotel named Paddy and he had said the room had already been cleaned and he will write it on their WhatsApp chat for it to be done that night too also apologies.

The morning of the wedding my bridal party had gone down to check the room was cleaned and well it hadn’t been still a mess. The bridal party spoke to a male manager which was very rude and basically told them it won’t get done until the last minute which caused a lot of stress.
My cake was promised on the day of the wedding by again Paddy that he would wrap up what was left as it was a lot, for me to collect the next day this didn’t happen. When I questioned it I was told one of my guests has taken the whole cake with them. This was proved not to have happened.

A room that I had paid for had a horrible smell so the bridesmaid ended up sleeping in the honeymoon room with us. This is not ideal at all

. Rolls for the bbq were solid and I complained about this at the time for him only to replace my roll and no one else’s. I then asked for them all to be replaced but by the time they come out most people had already eaten.

. The desserts that I had brought in were stored in a cellar not a fridge which I know from working in a pub that the cellar isn’t cold enough to store cream cakes! I had to sign a waiver to take responsibility for this but yet your company didn’t store them correctly. They should have been stored below the legal requirements of 5 degrees when a cellar is averaged at about 11 degrees.

A staff member also accused one of my guests of leaving without paying. He booked his stay through booking.com
And still shouldn’t have been spoken about with me as this is GDPR and was not booked through the wedding. I had to call him after this to find out what was going on for the staff member. This is unprofessional and should have been dealt with by hotel staff only

. Being a wedding I would've thought the bar would've been staffed. There was approximately 7 people waiting and repeatedly ringing the bell . A man finally came out and snapped you need to use the function bar. we all went down there and Paddy said it wasn't open yet . We let him know the whole wedding party was on their way and he kindly looked after everyone. People were grumbling and complaining at this point after waiting at the other bar for so long.

Service was awful as there really wasn't any ! We were eating desserts with all the dirty main plates still on our tables. This is basic service ! same with used glasses. Totally unacceptable service ! Very embarrassing as I was going to clear the room myself as people were complaining! We should've been enjoying ourselves not worrying about our guests complaining !

Head office also stated this in one of the emails which I think is appalling “I would like to make you aware that any purposeful attempt to damage the Leigh Park Hotels reputation, via social media or other forms of media such as review websites with anything but comments based on actual facts and events will need to be fully investigated by our legal representation to ensure the comments are factual and true and not solely an attempt to damage the hotels reputation.”

If I knew this was going to be the way I was treated after the wedding I would not have booked this hotel nor would I suggest anyone else to book.

My son and girlfriend now wife got Married here on 19th May 22 beautiful weather .we couldn't go to decorate till 6 o clock when we got there we had to wait a hour as room was being used when we finally got to do it we had to help one member of staff to clear room which we had to help clean up move tables then get tables ready with table cloths and cutlery etc but he was brilliant. Main dinner was terrible my son ordered full roast dinner for us all we had a bit of chicken 4 small roast potatoes and dishes of hard vegetables, pudding was cheesecake that was OK but the pourfitros were frozen inside
The evening buffet was finger food that was a few sandwiches crisp and pizza lasted two minutes then it was cleared away so all food was rubbish. Bridle suit could be a bit more specialOn a good note staff brilliant rooms good weather was fantastic. Views lovely.

Just wanted to say I found the service excellent in relation to the planning of the wedding, especially from Jess who has been very friendly, thorough and responsive, which made everything easier for me!

We got married there on the 21st and we couldn't have had a better time. Rooms were evcellant, the staff couldnto have been more helpful in the build up to the event and the wedding meal was amazing. The grounds are beautiful with views for miles including the Westbury white horse. Breakfast was also nice and a special mention to jess who looked after us brilliantly throughout’

I got married here in May, they were very good prior to the day, but I was very disappointed with the service the day before the wedding, I came to decorate the reception room myself after being told it would be ready, lots of the chair covers were dirty, had holes in them and generally looked very tired and worn. The room itself was dirty I ended up asking for polish and a cloth and cleaned round the room myself! On the day of the wedding even though they had a final brief there were many things that weren’t right on the day itself, which as a bride is very upsetting. I can’t fault the waiters as they are great and did there best to make us happy. Would not recommend.

The staff were amazing throughout the process of booking the venue right up to and throughout the wedding day.
Everything went very smoothly and any questions/requests were answered and dealt with well.
Our room was perfect and the views were amazing.
The food was also great, with lots of great comments from our guests
We both had an absolutely fantastic day.
I would certainly recommend this hotel if you were looking to book a wedding reception venue.

We have just celebrated my daughters wedding 27th July, we held the reception at this hotel and we can not praise it enough. The food was exellent, reception and the evening reception as well. The bebrooms were very clean and well stocked with the items you may have come without for your ablutions.The staff were polite and very helpful, the gardens are wonderful, with the secret garden perfect for those wedding pictures. The following morning breakfast was perfect. All in all a superb Hotel and on top of that the sun shon all day, what more could you wish for

My daughter got married here on 02/04/2017 and had both the wedding breakfast and evening do here . Quite a few guests including ourselves also stayed the night . It was brilliant from beginning to end and the staff were excellent. The weather played ball as well which made the hotel grounds even more beautiful. Our room was on the ground floor and overlooked the grounds and we also had our youngest daughter in with us . Breakfast was great too and plenty of it . The wedding breakfast and evening food were also very good and plentiful. All in all a fantastic time . Thank you to all the staff who work there.

Firstly we must begin by expressing our sincere thanks towards each and every member of staff at the hotel for their 5* service!

For any bride and groom their wedding day is of principle importance and they hope for a magical experience - this hotel delivered on every level.

We were greeted on arrival by a very pleasant Receptionist who welcomed us as if we were staying at her personal home. A lovely warm welcome which set the scene for the rest of the excellent customer service we received during our visit.

Fortunately for us our room was ready on our early arrival. The room resembled an old country house. Clean and spacious with an array of toiletries and tea/coffee/mineral water.

The light and airy room where the ceremony took place had views across the breath-taking grounds. Chandeliers and tasteful decor - it was beautifully furnished.

The Wedding Breakfast was delicious - the food was of a very high standard. What made it extra special was the service - all waiting staff were attentive and pleasant. Smiling and courteous they attended to each table efficiently but without haste.

The evening BBQ was plentiful and tasty too - the only minor constructive criticism would be a few more outdoor lights to make it more visible when making a selection.

Beds were comfy and the breakfast selection and quality emulated that of the Wedding Breakfast - lovely!

Would highly recommend this hotel to any potential bride and groom. A memorable wedding day thanks to Leigh Park.

We had our wedding here on 07/08/2016 and we absolutely loved every second of it. The venue is beautiful and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It's clear that they know what they are doing, and they do it well.
I stayed in the hotel the night before with my bridesmaids, as we got a complementary room for booking on the day of the wedding fair, and it was lovely and spacious, easily fitted 3 people with an extra single bed (not a fold out cot like you find sometimes) and the double bed was huge! There was a wedding on that night, but we couldn't hear a thing as we were on the top floor of the main house.
In the morning, the staff willingly offered to help set up with my new husband and his groomsmen, and where we didn't have enough bowls for our sweet table they kindly let us borrow some.
The wedding coordinator, Rebecca, is absolutely brilliant. She was very understanding that I like things a certain way, and she made us feel very at ease throughout every stage, and we kept in constant communication so we never felt like we didn't know what was going on.
Our master of ceremonies for the day, Jack, was amazing and a really down to earth guy. He was always happy to help with whatever requests we had, and nothing seemed like a silly question.
We booked the resident DJ with them for the reception. He was really good and happily took song requests.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite on the night of the wedding, which was beautiful. Fire place, four poster bed and views over the gardens and towards the Westbury Horse

We have just arrived home from a lovely stay at the Leigh Park Hotel, having been to a family wedding. The hotel did a fab job for the wedding, We couldn't fault it at all. Our room in the 'coach house' was clean and comfortable, the only downside was the lighting in the bathroom, and no instructions to turn on the over mirror light. Breakfast was ok, with plenty of variety, something for every taste. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding!!!
