16 person wedding

I got married here in mid December in a small 16 person wedding and have only positive things to say about the whole experience. Organisation was very relaxed with supportive and enthusiastic support from the Lord Crewe provided wedding planning team (Megan and Chloe). We had most involvement with Chloe who impressed us with her initiative, communication and care for the wedding but both her and Megan were brilliant throughout the preparation (which seems an exaggerated term as they made everything extremely easy!)

The hotel it self was magnificent, facilitating space for large group meals on Friday in amongst the rest of the hotel guests and then the separate wedding event in the gatehouse on Saturday. Food was like nothing I have ever experienced at a wedding before in both quality and quantity, despite costing no more than more conventional wedding menus. We were given great flexibility in menu choices and the online options were adapted to fit a predominantly pescetarian menu - thank you.

Restaurant, hotel and bar staff were all friendly, attentive and patient in managing wedding guests. The rooms and the inn itself are magnificent but the pictures already describe that well.

I'm sorry for how long it's taken to write this review, but the staff at the Lord Crewe (especially Chloe and Megan) deserve great credit for enabling a perfect wedding weekend without any stress and a brilliant time had by all guests. For a small wedding it created a special setting and provided great value for what it was able to provide
