The current owners are among the many generations of the same family to live here. They are delighted to offer couples exclusive use of the house and grounds for their special day.

Facilities and Capacity

Low House, Armathwaite offers views of the River Eden and is snuggled among manicured gardens surrounded by private parkland. The picturesque vistas are plentiful, making for numerous photo opportunities. There are three rooms in the main house, one in the annexe, and two gazebos in the garden that are licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. The largest room in the main house can cater for up to 70 guests. Those hoping to host a larger gathering or a summer wedding can use the gazebo located on the Side Lawn. It has ample space for a marquee to be set up alongside it. Small and large wedding celebrations are welcome here. The grounds are well suited for events with a long guest list while the house can serve as an inviting setting for weddings with close family and friends. Throughout this venue, couples will find memorable details, such as a winding staircase and vintage architecture that help enhance the big day.
