This beautiful country estate is located within the Forest of Dean, placed between Gloucester and Chepstow. Lydney Park Estate been owned by the same family since 1719 and in 1876 the original house was demolished and a new one built in the centre of the deer park.

The beautiful building is built in Victorian Scottish baronial style and offers the perfect setting for a romantic wedding through the months of April through to September. The venue overlooks the Severn Estuary – providing beautiful views of the natural surroundings.

Up to 130 guests can be accommodated in a clear sided or walled marquee which would be set up on the lawn next to the main house, or you can host your reception in the main hall, which leads into the formal library and the ballroom. Your guests will be able to mingle in style as they take in the Victorian interiors and the views of the river.

If you have a larger wedding party you can have a marquee erected in the deer park which offers spectacular views of the mansion on the hill, for up to 250 people. There’s also a gorgeous bridal suite within the mansion which is yours from 9am on the day of your wedding so you can prepare yourself in style.
