We had an amazing time on Saturday, even when it rained on the way from the church. The guests on the top of the open top bus thought it was hilarious.

Hannah and all the rest of the staff were great - I can't thank them enough. The food was delicious - we had many compliments and of course the venue is stunning. The children loved watching the boats and the crane. It is wonderful to have such a place in Bristol. There were local people with us who had not been in the M Shed before and were amazed.

The train trip was great - I can't wait to see the official photos. I think some of the locals enjoyed waving at us all on the train - they got a very load cheer if they waved to us! I believe that they opened the museum for them to have some photo's in as well.

The DJ was great (don't think I ever found out what his name was) he was really good fun and has a great voice. I'm really pleased we had him rather than a band.

Please pass on out thanks to everyone involved - it was a wonderful and very special day which will be remembered with a big smile for a very long time.

Meg and her Mum that did the balloons on Saturday morning also wanted to thank the person that gave them tea. They were very grateful and Meg said it was the best cup of tea she ever had!

We are back from honeymoon - we had a fab, relaxing time in Italy.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you and the team did to make our wedding perfect. Weddings are expensive things, but I nonetheless think that the M Shed is excellent value for money - we got what we paid for and more! The weather was horrendous but the nature of the venue meant it didn't matter at all - actually, the rain created a lot of atmosphere, and the views over the harbour was spectacular. The venue was light and airy, but I didn't feel like it was "just a function room". The tables looked fabulous, and we got a lot of compliments on the food and wine (so thank you).

The preparation for the day was great. You took a lot of stress out of the organisation, there were no unreasonable demands, and it all seemed pretty seamless - there was no need for a wedding planner, as you all took care of everything.

Hannah really is outstanding - she seemed to be everywhere, with a smile, all day. She even scooped up my dress to help me sit down for the meal, thank goodness, otherwise I would have been stuck. The service of the food was prompt, the staff were helpful but not intrusive, and they were all really nice.

I have no horror stories to share, and nothing that I would improve. You and your team put on an excellent event, so thank you.

Hi Cassie

We are back from our honeymoon and are back into the swing of things.

For me, the M Shed was a key element of why our wedding day was so special. The venue naturally has a lot of meaning to Row and her family, being proud Bristolians, but the care that you and your team took with our reception elevated the whole event beyond our expectations.
Everyone who helped us, yourself included, was easy-going and professional. It is apparent that the team enjoy their work, as they all delivered excellent service with broad smiles throughout.
Thank you for liaising with Tinman to allow them to perform. Row and I agree that the day would not have been the same without them, as their entertainment was thrilling.
When our driver got lost and delayed our arrival to the M Shed, the event management team took it in their stride and shifted the schedule for us. They had to do so again when my best man got more than a bit microphone happy. Serving the children food when it was apparent his speech was going to be an epic was a great call on their part.
The food and drink was top-drawer, with the cheeseboard still being talked about by our guests. Incorporating and storing our food from the off-site afternoon tea was greatly appreciated, especially our cake. The interpretation of the table dressings by the staff was exactly what Rowena had envisioned, and the care given to the flowers over night was noted and greatly appreciated.
Having frequent access to the venue to plan our event and to collect leftover food and table dressings the next day was a great help.
Rowena and I were completely satisfied with the service we had from the M Shed, and would not hesitate to recommend the venue to others.

I am sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. We have both been really busy.

We would both like to say thank you, to you and all the team at the Mshed. The whole process has been stress free and nothing has felt too much trouble for you guys to do. Unlike so many venues my friends use the answer to every question hasn't involved an increase in price and there haven't been any hidden charges along the way.

As for the day, Bruce, Hannah and the chef Tom were amazing. A few of my relatives commented on how efficient Hannah was and that nothing was too much for her. They all worked unbelievably hard to make sure our special day went perfectly. Specifically in terms of the food lots of people commented on how tasty it was and I still cant believe how amazing Tom made the cake look. We had lots and lots of comments on the cake.

It was incredibly helpful being able to set up the day before and not have to do any clearing up until the day after. I know we were lucky that there was no event the night before but this did mean that the wedding day only involved getting ourselves ready.

In respect of the venue as a whole we had loads of comments about how cool and trendy it was.

We honestly can't sing your praises enough, the whole experience was amazing and we had a truly incredible day.

Sorry for the delay in replying, we're having a wonderful time on Honeymoon at the moment but I wanted to say thank you for the email and to let you know that we thought that the wedding was PERFECT!

Hannah and her team were superb (with a particular thanks to Hannah who clearly worked extremely hard and yet was able to appear calm, organised and happy throughout). We received compliments all day on the quality of the food (from both the standard menus and the special requirements) and the extremely helpful and friendly service from the staff.

Mitch was amazing too and helped us to round off a wonderful wonderful day. Thank you again to you and the M-Shed for making such a fantastic day to remember!

To Cassie, Hannah and the whole ‘Team M Shed’. We both want to say a huge ‘thank you’ from the bottom of our hearts for making out wedding day last Saturday so special. Your advice, support and extreme professionalism, continual good humour and all round brilliance meant that we could both relax and thoroughly enjoy our day, confident that everything was in good hands. Nothing was forgotten, nothing missed – it all went exactly as planned and hoped for. The food was superb, the service exemplary and all the staff were so happy it was contagious. After shopping around for wedding venues we were extremely fortunate to get an appointment with Cassie at the Mshed. Instantly the venue won us over, and Cassies understanding of our needs and anticipating questions that we may have at this early stage secured the booking there and then. In the run up to the main event Cassies patience and total commitment to our day made all the planning seamless and very straight forward.

On the day we were looked after by Hannah and her team, the day could not have gone smoother due to their organisational skills and the highest levels of customer services.

Myself and Richard were considered in everything they did, we were put first and made to feel extremely well looked after.

The service given was discreet and very effective and totally professional at all times.

Every guest commented on the quality of the wedding breakfast food and how fresh and tasty it was.

The Mshed catered to our every need and we can not recommend the venue enough, after booking the crane lift into the venue, we can now say it was the second best decision we made, the first being to get married at the Mshed.

Cassie, Hannah and the Mshed should be very proud of what they do because they really are shining stars in Bristol and we could not have been happier.

We cannot say thank you enough. It was the most amazing evening. From the incredible help, support and friendliness of the staff, to the venue which had the incredible views over the harbour. But also the the room itself looked incredible, such an amazing space to party in. Your attention to detail made my life as a bride so much easier and totally took all the stress away from me, so we could both enjoy the evening. All this and more made the evening very special indeed. One we and our guests will not forget.

Hannah and Mitch on the night were incredible. They obviously take a lot of pride in what they do.

We had the most fantastic time. Hannah and her staff were amazing. Food was excellent. The venue looked wonderful and I will come in and show you the pix and send you the link to the phtographers website when we have those in a couple of weeks. I hope you get more wedding business as a result from word of mouth from our guests! Even if it had poured all day the venue would have been great - bright and airy with that stunning view - something to point out to prospective brides. We of course were amazingly lucky in that it only rained when we were sitting down!!

It was an odd one for me being a guest as well as working, but it was a great event and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Hannah and Seb. They were absolutely brilliant and the evening went so well as a result of their professionalism and their friendliness and terrific level of service.
