Exceptional Venue!
Booking with Manor by the Lake was the best decision we made! They were wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience! They were very flexible, met all of our needs and on the day exceeded expectations for how they tackled unexpected hurdles that cropped up! Could not recommend them enough

Wedding 5th April 2024
Craig & I got married at Manor by the Lake on 5th April 2024. We only had 5 weeks to arrange the whole wedding and can honestly say that all the team, Becca, Rach & Tina especially was so accommodating & helpful throughout the process! Sadly due to my dad having cancer, they did everything in their power to make it such a special day for us. One of the main reasons that swayed us more towards them was not only because of the beautiful venue but how mindful they were to help us as a family. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We also brought some of our own decorations expecting Craig was the one to set it up in the morning, but that wasn’t the case! They did it all for us. I wish we could do it all over again! The food was phenomenal, EVERYONE raved about how nice it was! Thank you to all the staff who helped make our day as special as it could be. I’d like to say a massive thank you to Tina, for helping make this happen & helping accommodate us with whatever we needed. Becca, my email queen & organiser, you were fabulous from start to finish and couldn’t believe you were new to the manor! And of course Rach, top notch with timings, decorating & helping my dad before the ceremony, without you the day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did. I cannot thank you all enough. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!
The staff at MBTL were amazing from the beginning of our journey with them (initial viewing) till our wedding day, and after. They couldn’t do enough to accommodate everything we needed and the venue captured everything we wanted our day to be. Extremely grateful to have had our special day at Manor By The Lake! I’m sure we’ll be celebrating future events there, too!

Stunning venue and great team.
After seeing the venue and meeting Emma we reserved our date by the time we were back on the motorway!
These guys were great from start to finish, they looked at all of the little details and took a lot of the stress from the planning.
The venue is absolutely stunning and having the whole venue to ourself for the day just makes so much sense! All of the guests complimented how amazing the venue was. The food was also amazing as was the accommodation.
Couldn't recommend highly enough! Couldn't imagine having gotten married anywhere else.

Everything you could you wish for
From our initial contact with Manor by the Lake we noticed how prompt and efficient their communications were via email.
We were then shown round the venue by the lovely Tina. As we were shown around the venue and talked through our endless options we quickly imagined how our day could look there.
We secured our date and began planning. This was made incredibly easy but constant communications and easy to use portals for planning and payments.
In the lead up to the day, Emma was our co-ordinator who couldn't have been more helpful making sure that every little detail was laid out and even made some great suggestions that wouldn't have crossed my mind.
We made full use of the Bridal cottage and the Groom's lodge the night before the wedding, I would strongly suggest this option!
Both our day & night coordinators on the wedding day deserve a special mention, from checking in to make sure everything was going as expected, ensuring we had time together as a couple, to making sure I got some of our evening food!
And lastly, on the subject of food, just wow! Every single one of our guests were blown away by the food. Many saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had.

The best venue!
Manor by the Lake is the most stunning wedding venue. We were so happy and had such an amazing day. All of the staff were fantastic and extremely helpful on the day aswell. 100% recommended this venue

We had our wedding at Manor By The Lake in the end of February and it was amazing. The venue is absolutely stunning and has different rooms which work perfectly for giving guests something different for each stage of the day! The wedding food was amazing, our guests kept complimenting how amazing the food was.
The amazing staff at the Manor by the Lake really make this experience! Nothing was ever too much trouble, they were all very helpful from start to finish. Siobhan helped our planning and was just fantastic throughout. Cleo ran the morning and Connor ran the event so smoothly we did not have to do anything at all on the day other than just enjoying ourselves.

Wedding of our dreams
We have the best experience one could ask for a wedding day and planning. Due to covid and traveling restrictions, we have to move our wedding date three times and the team from Manor by the Lake did not hesitate a second to helps us out and find the best solution for us. They were extremely professional, flexible, accommodating and super helpful. During our big day, we did not need to worry about anything, as they did everything for us!

The dreamiest wedding at the most beautiful venue!
Honestly, no words can even come close to quantifying how exceptional our wedding was at Manor By The Lake! From end-to-end, the day was a glowing success & the team at MBTL worked so hard in the run up, and during our wedding to make it so magical. We are truly blown away by the care, attention to detail and meticulous support and planning the team offered. We made the BEST decision going with MBTL, and we, along with all of our guests enjoyed an unforgettable experience! A huge thanks to Tina, Lorna, Leah and all of the planning / delivery / management team for all of your hard work! You utterly smashed it! This venue is breathtaking in so many ways....

Best Day of our lives
Planning the wedding with Manor by the Lake we knew it was going to be an amazing day. But the actual day was even better, the guests were amazed and we were too. The planning with Lorna up until the day was so fun and Cleo was amazing on the day and our day event Manager Connor was incredible! He always asked if we needed anything and just knew everything, even things we didn't think of he knew and made the day go smooth. As soon as it was over we are planning our 10 year anniversary to be there too. Gutted the day is over but thank you so much Manor by the lake and team! You guys were amazing.

Absolutely fabulous
Wedding day was perfect from beginning to the very end, all thanks to the MBTL team. So easy to work with and nothing was too much trouble. All staff were super friendly and very professional. They made us feel at ease knowing that everything we had discussed and planned was being taken care of. Even myself as the bride, checking into the Cottage the night before, being greeted with chocolate dipped strawberries and prosecco, followed by a super breakfast the next morning and being introduced to the main contact for the day (Connor).
I would highly recommend MBTL as an amazing wedding venue if you want the most amazing venue and surroundings, food, friendly, efficient and professional staff. Could not be happier with how the day played out.
