Manor Farm Barn, TN26 1NW, is eight minutes from Ashford International Station (35 minutes from St Pancras) and five minutes from Junction No.10 on the M20.
The Listed grade-two Barn was built around 1640 and is still in its original form. We have installed a raised wooden floor, perfect for dancing and celebrating your wedding day.
The roof is the original Kent peg tiles with oak laths, and all are visible, resulting in no echo so that 100 people can talk without shouting.
This is unique, as most barns have been insulated and have been tampered with.
The space can be brightened by candlelight or, electricity, or a combination of both; it is very romantic.
We leave it to you to do any decorating and flower arrangements; the blank canvas wedding venue is perfect to display your personal style.
We have plenty of power points for sound systems.
We provide 12 round tables (ten guests per table) and basic rustic chairs
You will have to supply your own catering and drinks; we do not charge corkage and can assist with caterers, linen, etc.
Between the barn and the lake is an area for a large marquee if so desired; this is often used for eating up to 150 people, and the barn for the reception and dancing. There is no time limit as to when the party finishes.
The lake is next to the barn and has an island and a Monet Bridge, which is perfect for photographs.
Around the lake is a recently planted arboretum of 150 trees with 40 different species and 10 acres of oak parkland, which guests are welcome to explore.
We have a kitchen, restrooms, and unlimited car parking.
We have been having parties for over forty years, and I will be there at every stage of the event to offer help and advice, if you so wish, at least one week before the event.
There are no extra charges, and you are free to bring in whatever caterers and bar services you like; we charge no corkage.
Camping will be welcome for guests in the field next to the barn.
