Marden Park has a fantastic selection of elegant spaces licensed to hold civil ceremonies. From the wood-panelled walls of the Goddard Room to the intimate and ornate Stephens Room, you can find the perfect space for your nuptials. If you’re opting for a Roman Catholic service, the picturesque Chapel is complete with stained glass windows. The expansive grounds provide spectacular backdrops for your wedding photographs, with beautiful features such as the pergola walk, stone benches and a fountain pond. Use of the gardens is included in the exclusive hire of the venue, and the stunning outdoor spaces offer a peaceful atmosphere for a drinks reception. A formal, seated wedding breakfast can accommodate between 60 and 130 guests, with up to 250 for the evening buffet.

The perfect venue, with so much space and multiple rooms and areas to seamlessly go from day to night
It was stress free having all the catering part of the venue, with a great range of options, delicious food and fantastic service. The biggest selling point for us was the space itself. Set inside a beautiful old manor house with lots of character with large gardens for beautiful photos. The venue is perfect for all weathers, despite getting married in July we did have rain, but with Marden Park Mansion, there are so many different areas from the drinks reception room, to the large wedding breakfast room and then a separate room for dancing and another room for the bar with sofas. There were no delays in needing to empty the room and have the musicians set up, waiting around outside, we could seamlessly move from the wedding breakfast straight onto the dancefloor, with the band ready to go! The whole evening ran perfectly and there was so much space for everyone to dance, eat, sit and talk without all being stuck in the same one room all day long. It was perfect! We still beam with joy when we think about our wedding day. Everything was set up perfectly, and all our guests felt relaxed and at home. Many of them told us it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted, and we wholeheartedly agree!
