I had the pleasure of being part of the bridal party at this venue on Saturday. My sister’s wedding and from booking the venue to her wedding they have been so helpful and on the day the venue looked amazing. Staff were lovely, Perfect location for any event we really had the most amazing day can’t recommend this venue enough thank you xx

This is such a special place and a brilliant option for a ‘DIY’ wedding. Loads of outside space to do what you want with the site. Having close friends and family staying on site in the barns was so much fun. There is loads of space for a marquee and perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The barns themselves are beautiful, and we all loved being in the hot tubs. Danielle was fab and always responsive in the run up to the wedding answering any worries. On the weekend the on-site team were nearby and super helpful. We had the most amazing weekend and can’t wait to go back and stay in the barns for a holiday sometime

We cannot thank Edward enough for the work he put in to make our big day the most special. He took charge of logistics, managed supplier deliveries and was on hand on the day for anything that was looking like it was going wrong (luckily, nothing did!). His help cannot be understated and we want to thank him for the contacts he has within the industry too - choosing suppliers that have already worked together was a big benefit to us as it made everything so smooth. Thank you once again for the most perfect venue and being the best support to make our day such a success.

We had our wedding at Lavender Field last summer and the whole experience was delightful from start to finish. Organising it with the owner was totally stress free and we had exactly what we wanted on the day. The day couldn't have gone any better for my husband and I, or for our guests. The view as expected was stunning and we were blessed with a beautiful sunset in the evening with views over Bourne End and beyond. I'd thoroughly recommend the location to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or party in the area.

Everything about our day was just as we hoped for, and Sarah and Nina and the whole catering team were so helpful and positive. We were able to set up the day before, the catering service was exceptional and the food was delicious. All our friends said how personal it all felt, and how friendly all the staff were. Both venues (St As and Malthouse) looked beautiful and we were able to have lovely photos taken in the grounds. There is also a lot of freedom to decorate and put your own personal stamp on things. Sarah saved the day, as our DJ pulled put two days before our wedding, and was able to sort us out with an amazing sound system. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Garden House for making our wedding day so amazing! The team pulled out all the stops to ensure the day ran smoothly and they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to others.

We had our wedding festival and hand fasting ceremony at Rushmere Farm in August 2019. From the offset it was always so easy to contact them to ask questions etc and communication was easy and helpful. The barn itself is amazing, plenty big enough for a huge party even if the UK weather isnt great. We were lucky enough to be able to use all the outdoor space and we had bouncy castles, outdoor games, hay bale seating, fire bin, bubble machines and so much more. It was great to have free reign to pretty much do whatever we wanted to. The farm is in a beautiful location and you're literally in the middle of no where and it's so beautiful. Many of our guests camped over which was lovely. We had use of the beautiful yurts and bell tents which were incredibly comfortable and warm. The mobile toilet facilities that were provided were extremely luxurious and clean. George and his family were so helpful from start to finish and I couldn't recommend this place enough for any occasion. George even let my little boy, who has special needs, sit in his tractor which even now was still the highlight of the weekend for him! I hope one day we will have the opportunity to be able to use the farm again.

We stumbled across the venue last summer and as soon as we saw it and met with Simon, the owner, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. We had totally free reign over the styling of the marquee, and were given the week leading up to the wedding to decorate it at our leisure. The cafe is wonderful and quirky, and the field and grounds surrounding the café and marquee are huge and provided a lovely backdrop for photos. Simon was fab through the planning. Every email was responded to quickly and thoroughly, and we really felt we got a personal touch by dealing directly with him throughout the process. Food-wise, we had a hog-roast provided by the venue as our main meal, along with some really lovely sides, and salads. For evening food, we had a ploughman’s spread which included pate and cured meats. Both meals were delicious and went down so well with our guests, and the venue was very accommodating of dietary requirements. This truly is the most incredible wedding venue. We have had many guests saying how wonderful it was, and because of its uniqueness we are confident that our guests will remember the day for years to come. Our wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams, a month on and we are still buzzing from how much fun we had. We really put a lot of that down to the venue – it is definitely a venue that not only allows, but encourages you to have fun with your wedding day. If you are looking for a venue which really lets you put your own stamp on your wedding day whilst certainly not breaking the bank, we would wholeheartedly recommend the Departure Lounge. My sons wedding to our now daughter in law, Oliver and Samantha, was an exceptional event due to the work by your staff and self on Friday,Saturday and Sunday morning. The room was a delight when guests walked in, and during the setting up on Friday nothing was too much effort. Your management team were a delight to be with, helpful in every way. The catering on Saturday was of a very high standard, and the comments from many many guests was of delight at such fine food from a private members establishment not a commercial restaurant. The competitors in your local have a great deal of work to do to catch up! May I also ask that you pass on my thanks to the upstairs staff who put in such sterling work to get rooms ready before the allotted time which allowed guests to get ready for what was a most wonderful day. I will most certainly recommend your venue to our friends as the place to stay when in the Southampton area

Newington House is a wonderful place to get married. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful; it feels impressive but also very homely. It was the perfect setting for a British country wedding (within easy reach of London!) Alex and James gave us the freedom to create a truly bespoke wedding. Our guests absolutely loved Newington and so did we. We’d thoroughly recommend it to other couples who want to escape the 'cookie cutter' weddings offered by more corporate venues."
