Facilities and Capacity
Merchant Adventurers’ Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and can accommodate parties of up to 180 ceremony and reception guests. The timbered Great Hall is a stunning event space, perfect for large wedding ceremonies. The luxurious Governor’s Parlour is ideal if you’re planning an intimate ceremony with 20 or fewer people. If you plan to get married sometime in the spring or summer, you’re welcome to use the venue’s secluded Walled Garden for your pre-dinner drinks reception. It also provides plenty of great backdrops for those all-important wedding photos. Afterwards, you and your party can make your way to the Great Hall for a fabulous meal, followed by an evening of dancing and fun in the Undercroft.
