Merchant Taylor's Hall is a historic wedding venue situated in the heart of the City of London, England. This grand and storied property has all the trappings of an English country house, but is conveniently situated within the hustle and bustle of the country's capital. This makes it a rare gem and sets it apart from other venues. Built in the 14th century, parts of the original building remain, creating a romantic and retro ambience that is unrivalled in the UK.
Facilities and Capacity
Merchant Taylor's Hall's piece de resistance is the Great Hall, the room that dates back to the building's founding. Bathed in natural light, this spectacular hall features cathedral ceilings, ornate details, large windows, and sparkling chandeliers. It can accommodate up to 250 guests for dinner and dancing. If you prefer a more intimate space, The Drawing Room will be at your disposal. Erected in the 18th century, this room is decorated with hand-painted wallpaper that will take you back to a bygone era. The Parlour is also an atmospheric space for your exchange of vows and small receptions. Finally, the courtyard garden is perfect for drinks receptions and post-diner drinks. Complete with a fountain and lots of greenery, this courtyard is the epitome of sophistication.
